Meta disabled my accounts incorrectly - no support to contact whatsoever!
I was randomly asked to verify my identity due to “unusual activity” during a messenger conversation and following an AI face scan my meta was disabled and my one appeal rejected after the same scan was just attempted again instead of asking me for proof of ID etc. The issue being my Facebook doesn’t have many current pictures of me, my profile picture was zoomed out, a couple years old and I was wearing sunglasses so I figure this tripped up the AI.
I have been permanently banned as a result of this incorrect scan, my livelihood and business relies on my social media pages. I can do anything to prove I am the rightful owner of my Facebook account and two linked Instagram accounts via meta (@Drosecollective and @Andre.j1414). I have multiple forms of government identification (Birth certificate, passport, drivers licence) and request my account is fixed as soon as possible please! This was an error and it’s impossible to reach any kind of support!

Workplace by Facebook isn’t just incompetent… it’s offensively incompetent. It’s what happens when a company that perfected distraction decides it understands productivity. It’s loud, bloated, intrusive, and so fundamentally misguided it feels like satire.
It takes everything toxic about social media, the surveillance, the algorithmic manipulation, the obsession with engagement over substance, and force-feeds it into professional environments. It doesn’t streamline work; it suffocates it. It doesn’t enhance collaboration; it turns it into a performance. It’s corporate cosplay pretending to be infrastructure.
And Zuckerberg? The man has built an empire on harvesting attention and calling it connection. Every product reeks of the same philosophy: extract, dominate, monetise, apologise later, if at all. There’s a staggering arrogance in believing that the same machinery that corrodes public discourse should somehow elevate workplace culture.
Workplace isn’t innovation. It’s hubris wrapped in a user interface.
If this is the calibre of leadership and vision driving it, then the real dysfunction isn’t in the app… it’s at the top.

Best product on the market
As a business owner, this is one of the best platforms on the market! As an admin it is seamless to use and even more importantly - easy to locate documents within the prior data feed posts. Online video conferences that allow to record is a loved feature for our office. It is great for those who are on the go and cannot attend office meetings for the full meeting. I just can’t say enough about this product. The only thing it does not have is a built in calendar. Other than this, our office need is checked off with the features available in this product.

Workplace has served my very large organization for many years. It has been a tentpole of our communications strategy. Workplace is also part of Meta, and since the company is purely driven by non-altruistic goals, they’re killing it. Thanks Meta!
