Stopped working and deleted maps
I’ve had this app since 2017 and used it multiple European cities to great delight. I opened it the other day and all my downloaded maps are gone and it no longer works. Reinstalled it and still no maps and now it wants me to buy additional maps when I already paid for the app. Not happy
Nice Idea In Theory
It’s a pity the maps don’t download. Three attempts to download a map of London gave me an error message every time. I gave them my money for this lemon. I got this for my upcoming holiday to Europe but it’s useless. Waste of money.

Sorry you had problems. London is the largest download, so it's best done over wifi. We've improved the CDN, so it should be working better.

Would give zero stars if could. Limited choice of major cities in the U.S., and doesn't even have San Diego, California as one of them! When tried to download existing map for Los Angeles, it took 3 tries however was not able to complete download and I only have access to west LA. Would like a refund. Total waste of time and money!

Sorry you had problems. I'm not sure how you had half a map. It should be all or nothing. LA is quite large, so is best downloaded over wifi. The CDN has been improved so the downloads should be faster.

Why is the Uk's second largest city, BIRMINGHAM, missing?
I also could not get "settings" to stay on screen long enough to check them out!

Doesn't use their own maps
I downloaded the two cities I will be traveling to. I went to the map and apple maps popped up. I don't need an app I paid for to do that. I wanted an offline map/guide program. The guides are nice, but I can get those from Wikipedia.

Sorry you had problems. Not sure why Apple maps is popping up. The map is completely offline and within the app.

One of the best apps I have found for offline travel maps and guides. I can use it in any city in the world with unlimited downloads !! And the best part is there is no additional fees. Highly recommend .

Of course this has the big London, Paris, Rome stuff in it but I was so excited to see a lot of the Middle East and even Eastern Europe here. Jakarta here I come!
Amazing
This app gives me the power to view offline maps of many tourist locations. City Guides shows me how to get from location to location. It also shows me history about those areas.
Great Resource
I found the offline maps very useful for traveling when I didn’t have an internet connection. The Wikipedia articles for all the top sights are also offline and more detailed than most travel guides.
