About

The world of DanceSport, in your pocket. WDF is the official app of the World Dance Foundation — the home of competitive ballroom dance. Browse the global competition calendar across every major federation, open three decades of results archives, and look up any of 93,000+ competitors on the public record. PARTNER SEARCH — the fastest way to find your next dance partner. Browse real profiles with verified competition records, filter by style and role, respond to an ad, or post your own — right from your phone. COMPETITIONS — the sanctioned season in one calendar: NDCA, WDSF, WDC, WDO, WFADS, and BDC events with dates, venues, and official sites. Star a competition and it lands on your watchlist. RECORDS — every dancer, on the record. Search the USA, international, and WDSF circuits free; open any profile for career stats and recent placements with medals. Claim your own record — free — and unlock the full analysis on every profile: styles, best dances, levels, partners, and career charts. RESULTS — three archives, championship by championship: USA competitions, the international circuits heat-by-heat, and the WDSF archive from World Championships to GrandSlams. THE STUDIO ATLAS — 1,280 studios across 69 countries, searchable by style and place. JOBS & AUDITIONS — teaching positions, competition staff, and auditions, posted by studios and organizers; studios post openings straight from their Atlas page. YOUR PASSPORT, YOURS TO EDIT — claim your competition record and update your passport from the app: display name, country and city, studio, coaches, a short bio, and (adults, strictly opt-in) contact details on your public profile. And on any competitor profile: podium record, best dances by average placement, partner history, season-by-season career charts, and the level climb from Newcomer to Championship. Sign in with Apple or Google to unlock your Dance Passport, watchlist, partner-ad responses, and notifications when someone answers your ad. World Dance Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to growing dance worldwide.

Happenings — what's on, near you Visiting teachers, camps, and practice rounds at studios around you, sorted by distance. Sign up in two taps and the studio knows you're coming. Studio owners: post a happening from your desk and watch the headcount arrive. My Season — your whole season on one calendar Starred competitions alongside your own lessons, practice, travel, and notes, on a single month grid. Tap a day to add something, tap again to move it. It travels with your account, so the season you plan here is waiting for you on the web. The Floor is now a conversation Comment on posts, edit your own, and share a moment beyond the app. Links in posts are tappable. Coach desk — for teachers and adjudicators Lesson requests now reach you the moment a dancer sends one. Confirm or decline from your phone, see what's booked, and find the credentials from your directory profile. Parent desk — for the grown-ups in the ballroom Add your dancers, link a competition record so their results follow them in, and plan the family season. A young dancer's profile stays private to you. Find a Partner, from the front door The partner board is now one tap from Today. Also in this release: an app-icon badge showing exactly what's waiting for you, smoother scrolling on Today, and a fix for taps landing on the wrong card in Partner Search.
