World Card Lite

This app does not work with ios9. After upgrading to ios9, I lost all my contacts!

Notes field

A good idea but work the bugs out guys. The notes field will not accept a paste. This makes this app useless to me.

Big Disappointment

After many hours of reviewing the many options of choosing a good business card reader program, I thought I really found the one that filled all my needs. Then I decided to download the free version before paying any money and really being disappointed if I was to be unsatisfied. Well, it started out really well and was performing as a card reader should. Unlike many of the comments I was reading earlier, it still is a card reader and that's all I really expected, with good organization capabilities. The only issue I found, which is somewhat critical, is that the cropping function does not work. It has two options for cropping. One is automatic and when that didn't work properly, I tried the manual, which didn't functional all. It allowed me to crop the card the way I needed it to be, however the issue was that it just didn't allow me to save the changes after I repetitiously tried saving it many many times over. I feel that if they can work out this bug, this might be worth purchasing. I would definitely consider it if they can resolve this major issue.

Can't sync google contacts

Sync never end while start it.

Review of world card hd

Not that great. Must make a lot of corrections in all areas. They don't tell you it only holds 30 cards. Then they want you to pay almost $7.00 for an upgrade. Not worth it.

Twitter, LinkedIn use better if scanned

The search on Twitter and LinkedIn is okay but not NEARLY as useful as scanning these in! A social media field set is needed with options for these and include 'other' to future-proof. I have to manually enter in notes.

Lite Vs. Paid

What's the difference between the Lite Vs. Paid version?

Tricked

Works well for the most part, but after a period of time, once you begin to rely on it....they lock you out of new entries and insist that you pay $15 for the full version.

Horrid

This does not scan properly. Only uses back camera. Poor interface. Crashes all the time.

Useless

Shows importing contacts already on the iPad, then never shows any contacts. Not sure what this app is actually used for as there are no actual uses for an app that does nothing.

I would give it negative as a rating if possible.

MAYBE it wasn't bad, I'll never know

Getting tired of developers or (marketers) not disclosing what's in the free vs. paid app. I have no qualms about paying for an app if I know what I'm getting. And "free" apps, I'm not looking for a bargain, I'm looking for a decent demo. With this app, I was able to use text recognition 1 time before it told me I had to buy the full version. Waste of my time. Sorry for the one star but I still don't know what this app can or can't do. Something I can speak to though as far as functionality, it's clunky and it's a pain to navigate ...not intuitive at all.

Interpreted 99%

I was impressed after first card I took with the iPad camera, worked great next card too. Exactly what I was looking for

Fails to interpret my business cards

Cannot get this to recognize anything on any card other than a name & a number -- no business name, or address, or email, or web site, or title, or tag line. Using iOS6 on new iPad4. scanned card image looks great as all iPad photos, but "recognize" function does not...
Keep looking!

Useless

Takes longer to correct all the typos than to enter the information in the first place! Waste of time, and I'm sure the full version is a waste of money as well.

Images of biz cards are pretty clear with iPad2

I've captured a few cards and the images are pretty clear so very usable. The text recognition isn't good at all, so if you want that in a list you will need to type. -- using free version.

Extraordinary!

It not only scans business cards but I could get locations as well for my contacts.
Google Map connectivity feature is amazing.
Managing business cards was never so easy before.

Not bad

I got 100% recognition with the iPad 3. The iPad 3 has a better camera than iPad 2, and it has auto-focus. There were some things I had to enter by hand because the app could not figure out what to do with the information, but it seems to work as well as I could expect.

I like that the information is not stored automatically in my contacts list, but I don't find a way to export it directly to the iPad's Contacts app, which is a minus. The app allows the contact to be EMailed in vCard format. If I needed this app, I would buy the full price version.

Tons of typos

The app took a few tries to figure out how things worked. When I finally got it to scan, there were a ton of typos. Then I have to go back and correct just about everything. I tried this with four different cards and typos on all of them. I really like the note section so I can keep track of convos had with clients. Other than that, it's worthless. Maybe the full version is better but I don't want to gamble with $14 to find out.
