This is our biggest update yet — here's everything new. WORSHIPSTAND IN YOUR CAR WorshipStand now supports Apple CarPlay. Browse your downloaded services on your car's display with album art, play songs from the service you have open, and use true previous and next controls. (Tap-to-play for your other downloaded services arrives in an upcoming release.) SWITCH VERSION OR KEY ON THE FLY Song settings now let you switch to any version of a song — capo arrangements and Nashville Number charts included — or transpose to any key. The chart and the audio both follow, and your choice is remembered for that song in that service, just for you. Leading a synced session? Your change moves everyone with you. MULTI-COLUMN CHORD CHARTS Display charts in one, two, or three side-by-side columns — up to two on phones, three on tablets. Sections, color bands, annotations, and section navigation all work in columns; charts open directly in your chosen layout, re-flow when you rotate, and remember your choice and font size per song and per orientation. Downloaded services display their columns offline too. PLAY TOGETHER, LIVE Leader Sync lets one person lead your whole team through a service: when the leader opens a song, scrolls the chart, or turns a PDF page, everyone following moves with them — nearly instantly when you share Wi-Fi. Any team member can lead, it works alongside Bluetooth pedals, and anyone can stop following at any time. NAVIGATE BY SECTION Move through a song verse to chorus to bridge with a foot pedal, on-screen buttons, a swipe, the Song Map, or keyboard keys. The current section stays highlighted, and normal free scrolling still works right alongside. WORKS WITH THE WORSHIPTEAM APP Practice and perform links from WorshipTeam now open directly in WorshipStand, landing on the right service even if you weren't signed in. Group admins with the WorshipTeam app installed can jump from any service straight into the WorshipTeam editor. LISTEN ANYWHERE Audio keeps playing when you switch apps or lock your phone, with full play, pause, and skip controls plus album artwork on your lock screen. Stay signed in without re-entering your password every time. READ SONGS YOUR WAY Standard, Song Map, and Expanded arrangement views; color-coded bands for sections and dynamics; a wide selection of chart fonts set per song; plus a chord color picker, musical info display, lyrics-only mode, and a dotted-quarter tempo toggle for compound meters. DOWNLOADS AND OFFLINE Auto-download upcoming services, see your storage usage, set a cache limit, and clear old downloads. Downloads keep running in the background so your services are ready when you are, songs with attached PDFs display correctly offline, and offline playback and file handling are more reliable throughout. KNOW WHEN SOMETHING CHANGED When your team updates a downloaded service, a small pulsing dot appears on its downloaded icon — so you know to take a look before you're on stage. Open the service and the dot clears. SERVICES AND TEAMS See participation status at a glance and accept or decline invites right in the app. Services with multiple events show the correct roster, date, and time for each, and tapping a service notification takes you straight to the right service. MARK UP YOUR CHARTS Annotate charts with highlights, text notes, freehand drawings, and images. Add chord diagrams from a library of hundreds of fingerings, place notes on a full music staff, and share annotations with control over who sees each one. Works beautifully in dark mode. POLISH A new Settings hub, dark mode across the app, improved iPad layouts, sharp keys (C# and F#) playing correctly with complete charts, reliable re-downloads after clearing your cache, hardware-keyboard typing in every dialog, more dependable lock screen controls, and dozens of stability, sync, and performance fixes.
