If you’re seeing this, it’s probably too late. You’ve already clicked thru from an Instagram add and paid for a subscription to this app that is misleading in what it’s offering. The watch face is temporary and only works by opening the Wrista app on your watch. You will have to reopen the app every hour, or every time you click the side dial and go into another app on your watch, to add the watch face back on to your screen. They’re clearly scamming people out of $3.99-$6.99.

Don’t bother display only works through the app on the watch. Apple doesn’t allow install.

This feels like a bait and switch. I emailed for help as the watch display kept disappearing to be told Apple doesn’t allow these faces to be installed on their watches. Don’t see them advertising that info til you already paid for the app. Total waste of money. Only way to keep it on your watch is to continually go in and open the app to get the face to show. Gave one extra star because the faces are cool for the brief time you can see them.

Be careful - misleading charges disguised as a “trial”

I wanted to like this app. I really did. But this is one of those cases where transparency matters more than features.

The app advertises a low-cost trial, but what actually happens is that you are charged two separate amounts almost immediately: one for $0.99 and another for $6.00. This split charge is not clearly disclosed during the signup flow, and it feels intentionally designed to confuse users.

When I contacted support, they canceled the subscription but refused to refund the charges, hiding behind “trial terms.” That response completely ignores the real issue: misleading billing practices.

This is not about $6.99. It’s about trust. If you have to surprise users with fragmented charges, something is wrong with the business model.

I’m leaving this review so others can make an informed decision and avoid the same experience. Please read the reviews carefully before downloading. I wish I had.

False Advertising

I found this app on Instagram but it was listed under a different name. It said I could get a Tag Heuer watch face which I thought would be cool. After purchasing the app I was led to another page that said I have to pay another fee if I want to access the Tag Heuer watch face. This app is a total scam and needs to be removed. This is the second time I’ve made a purchase from Instagram and found it to be fraudulent. Never again.

Don’t recommend this app period

OK, so when I got this app, I was very excited to use it until once. I got the tutorial and was able to get the face on my watch it actually disappeared. Don’t stay on there like it was opposed to do so it’s obviously shows that this app is not recommendable they need to do something about this app and the fact that I pay $3.99 which is not a bad deal for it but the same time it’s not really doing what I supposed to do and keep my face watch on my Apple Watch

Don’t buy!

Thinking it was a cute gallery of faces to add to my watch l, I clicked on the coupon for $3.99 - and the next screen had a “continue” button that I hit, and before I knew it, I was charged another $20 for a Christmas add on gallery that I had zero interest in. I wrote them right away and they responded it was non refundable. I wouldn’t care if it was an app that worked - the gallery doesn’t sync with your watch faces - it’s only visible on the watch app! Total waste of money.

Read Reviews Before Downloading

You have to open the app to use the watch face. It won’t stay, you have to open the app each time you want to see the watch face you’ve chosen. It won’t stay and be used. Additionally, you can’t use the watch face for anything beyond looking at. No links to apps (i.e. weather, calendar, fitness, etc…) It makes all the functionality of your watch go away.

Waste of time and money. Stay away 👎🏼 It’s frustrating to say the least.

Charges/Payment

I was charged the 0.99 to my account as advertised by
Verabl. App then I go into my Account to see an additional amount for $3.00 was then charged minutes later taken by “Vertiable OU” I will be disputing this as I did not agree to a 3.00 charge. Funny how two different names similar to each other want to take advantage of people. SHAME ON YOU!

DO NOT BUY!!

They do not offer a money back guarantee. You do not get a ton of faces. The cool looking faces that go scrolling by during the signup screen cost extra. They are not included. When you realize that and decide the app isn’t for you and you want to cancel and get a refund, suddenly the money back guarantee doesn’t exist and you don’t get your money back. This is very deceptive sales practices.

They are refusing to refund my money so I have no option but to dispute it with my CC company. These people are thieves.

Wish I could give zero. Have been bombarded with ads for this app and saw that designer style faces were available when subscribed. Brands like Cartier, Rolex, etc. and spelled correctly. When I attempted to ‘learn more’ I found myself accidentally paying for ‘unlimited’ use, then be pushed to purchase multiple additions with no information about what was included with add ons. When directed to dl the app, I found very limited selection of childish and unappealing options. The so called designer faces were NOT brands like Rolex. Oh no. It became clear that the classic trick of low end counterfeiters was in play here - ROLEX became Royalux, as an example. Avoid. Wasted money and clear bait and switch.

No stars is still too much

This is a scam point blank period. They advertise it like it’s watch faces but the reality is you have to have the app open on the watch to even see the face. Like it doesn’t replace your current face it just is an overlay until your watch goes to sleep. This is the worst and they have these shady popups that make you pay for more. I’ll be getting my money back one this garbage app

Terrible App

This app looked good in their ad but what a disappointment. It’s NOT a true watch face. Just something that is temporary and then reverts back to your real watch face. You can’t change anything about them.
When signing up be careful. It’s confusing and they get you for a premium $9.99 charge when you think you’re activating the app on your phone.
Total waste of money.

Update: after reaching out to the support team, they said they would refund a portion of the fee. They lied. They never refunded anything. Total SCAM!!
Apple support please pull this app from your site. Just look at the reviews…

Bait and switch

This outfit operates very deceivingly. I purchased the app. For a discounted price and then selected next. It took me to a page where the only thing you could do is select 1999 for X number of faces because you couldn’t go back and you click forward. It wouldn’t go anywhere you were stuck at that point. So when I emailed the company for support, they knew full well that this is what is happening because their statement was hey we told you in our terms and services that there’s no refunds and a story. I have nowhere to go. There’s nothing I can do well I can warn others so buyer be aware

Complete scam.

If you came here to download this app - DO NOT DO IT. They offered a “deal” of $2.99 for the app, but have now tried to charge me $29 per month, two months in a row. Because no money changed hands with Apple, I have no recourse from them.

And oh, by the way, the App doesn’t even work as advertised. It’s really bad that it doesn’t provide even a fraction of the promised watch faces and extras. The response from “Wristra,” A/K/A Thingol Limited was that the “subscription” that I never agreed to now cannot be cancelled. Being unable to cancel a service, or any contract is completely outrageous and illegal.

SCAM!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. Unlike myself, I failed to read the reviews. I was so excited to get the cool watch wallpapers they tricked us all into wanting. I have 2 pending charges on my CC, that I can’t report till they actually go through. This is a Subscription to where they will take our money each month if this app isn’t SHUT DOWN. I have photo proof of everything. PLEASE take this app down! Save everyone from losing money and you all the hassle of all the refunds

Buyer beware

So the first thing you’ll notice about this app when you see the ad on Instagram is that it will have one price and then it’ll come up with another price and then it’ll come up with another price of a bunch of add-ons pop up which is a really sketchy practice to begin with.

If you look at the patch notes, they’re the most generic app a patch note you could possibly have in fact the last two pass notes have exactly the same wording which doesn’t exactly scream actively developed.

The last thing and the absolute worst thing is that you cannot use these watch faces basically, you have to load the app every time on your watch for the face to show up. There’s no other mechanism for the watch faces so after a few minutes, it goes back to whatever your default watch face is via the gallery and then to get the one that you paid for, you have to go load the app again on your watch, which who wants to do that? Either develop something that you can save as a watch face through other means or don’t waste my time. I know other watch face developers managed to do this without using the Apple architecture.

Can be better

The face on the watch does not stay permanently, big downside for me. Also, not knowing how much the payment will be or which is the length of the first payment for! Needs to be more specific and also I want to be able to modify what’s I want in the face stuck as message or another app of preference.

Don’t install!!

It only gets 1 star because I can’t give 0. Not only was I booked for the $3.99 promotional amount, but immediately afterward was billed another $9.99. When I contacted them, I was told “too bad. It’s not refundable”. To make matters worse, the faces do not install properly and you can only see them in the Wrista app. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card.

Scam

Ordered the initial app download and got scammed into an upsell that I accidentally accepted. As soon as I noticed (within 3 minutes), I contacted their customer service who said “sorry best we’re willing to do is give you 50% refund”. Absolutely unacceptable and terrible customer service as I have not used ANY of their solutions yet, nor will I going forward. BEWARE they are intentionally making you click for things that have charges just so they can rack up a bill. I will definitely be contacting Apple and my credit card company. Their extremely low rating is totally justified.

Not good

It does not work right have two watch faces. And the new one when you take your watch off and put it back it is not there so you have to put it back on.
