What's New in Written
2.0
September 13, 2026
This is a major update — your projects now sync across devices via iCloud, and analytics got a real upgrade: trend charts, a monthly activity heat map, streaks, and a consistency rating, plus a projection of whether your current pace will hit your deadline. Story Structure now supports named, drag-and-drop-reorderable sections and scenes. There's a real iPad layout, initial Mac support, and four new built-in themes. Also fixed: a crash when deleting scene elements, Notes search not actually filtering, and reordering notes/scenes not saving properly. Plus a refreshed interface throughout. The Premium unlock is now $4.99, reflecting everything in this release — existing purchases are unaffected.
