To many advertisement
All the advertisements are annoying plus they cause app to crash and you have to hit the skip on it several times to go to the article and when reading the article, it pops up and then the app crashes.

I just deleted this app. I WANTED TO WATCH THE NEWS, but a Starlink pop-up appeared and had no way to dismiss it. I closed & reopened the app; the same pop-up appeared.
To many popup commercials
The new update has to many commercials popups and when reading a news story a commercial popups and when you close the commercials the app doesn’t go back to news story.Go back to the main page. Plus the commercials popups when you close them it automatically takes you to their website. I decided to delete the WTOC news app.

The revised app offensively attempted to burrow its way too deeply into my phone. I have two other Gray affiliates’ apps on my phone. Should any similar revisions to WCSC’s and WIS’ result in their burrowing in, I’ll have NONE!!! It’s up to you!
WYOC is Bias
WTOC is a bias News Network especially when they only reach out to Republican officials in this matter. We might have taken out Maduro for his mixed up in drug trafficking; I think it was more about the OIL and the money Trump and his cronies can make.
Garbage app
I was able to tolerate the occasional picture ad that would pop up every time I opened the app, but to turn that into a full blown sit and wait experience for 2 whole minutes is preposterous!!! Screw it! I’m uninstalling it
Not a kid - stop with the game download ads
Has become unusable due to having to watch stupid ads for games every time you open the app. Oh, someone got shot. First look at this game we want you to download so we can get paid. Switching to WSAV and WJCL. WTOC used to the best but not any longer.

I do enjoy this app for its local news. But when it comes to national news it’s the same lies and propaganda that earned the title, Fake News. According to the article published, James Comey is being charged because he is Trump’s political adversary. It says that the charges are for lying to congress, but they then say that the charges are regarding the investigation into Russian election interference. That’s not exact true though, is it. They accused Trump of colluding with Russia and even fabricated the Steele Dossier. I quit reading the art when it said that multiple government investigations showed that Russian tampered with the election to help Republicans. The question I keep asking myself is, do these people believe their own lies because they’re so wrapped up in their cult and are completely brainwashed, or are they just evil people who don’t care that their lies have caused so many innocent people to die and unleashed such pain and suffering on this world and this nation? Are they demented or demonic?

Not impressed
If I could give this a lower rating I would.. I used to enjoy the reads but now just for local weather.. WTOC has become bias to msnbc, cnn and other liberal news outlets.. they do not write their own news anymore since the good ones left.. goodbye WTOC, I can get local weather from my mobile weather app and lacking the liberal scripts added along..

Cannot click out of opening ad not user friendly
Love the station, their Facebook but the app has so many ads and sometimes depending on the ad rotation, you can not get past the ad to actually get the news.
Terrible Interface
Navigating through and past horrible screen-hogging ads with fake “X” icons lead to more pop-ups. So sad that the best news source in the area has a horribly clunky app. I will look for another source for local news on the go.
