Not working
I get a notification alert of new news and click on the alert notification, doesn’t take me to the article I clicked on to read…and all the news I pull up is days old.

November 2023 Update: The app continues to be more annoying than useful. You can now click on the alerts, but only from one particular screen in the app. If you’re in a different section, you have no access. And why does the app need to take over my sound any time I open it? I can read the poorly-written articles while my other apps are playing something.
How does one continue to make the app worse with every update. Now when I have a notification, I can’t click on the “Alerts” section at the top of the screen. It just won’t respond. Must be nice being the only game in town.
