November 2023 Update: The app continues to be more annoying than useful. You can now click on the alerts, but only from one particular screen in the app. If you’re in a different section, you have no access. And why does the app need to take over my sound any time I open it? I can read the poorly-written articles while my other apps are playing something.
How does one continue to make the app worse with every update. Now when I have a notification, I can’t click on the “Alerts” section at the top of the screen. It just won’t respond. Must be nice being the only game in town.

App Update
The updated app continues to show a notification number. I detest notification numbers showing up. I have opened the app, cleared everything including setting up preferences. I still have a red 1 appearing. Also, having ads appear every time you move back and forth is ridiculous. If this continues, I will be deleting the app.

Always Alerted
New look is fine but the app icon on my home screen constantly shows 1 notification red ball and when I open the app there are zero notifications for any link.
This is aggravating since I want specific notifications and there’s nothing there.

Seldom updated and stories are never followed up. Sports OT still features week 1 games.
Birthday Announcement
I've been using the app for a few years now but I'm not sure why birthday announcements aren't aired when submitted on time. If there are too many maybe they should split them up during the news air time. It's just disappointing when you've taken the time to submit them and they don't show them.

Way too many ads
The news itself is great, but the ridiculous number of pop up ads makes the experience almost unbearable. The app makes the station come off as more of a tabloid than a reputable news source. I understand that funding is necessary, but user experience is vitally important as well.

Pop-up Adds and Spam Links
This app has pop-up adds from local businesses that are frequent and annoying. And every legitimate story is followed by countless spam links to those bogus stories that are everywhere; you k ow the ones:
“What you should pay for dental implants…”
“Smartphone users, do this today…”
“Unsold SUVs going for Pennie’s on the dollar”…
They are all spam and click-bait crap. Put legit adds that your readers/viewers would appreciate, but don’t pop them up so frequently, please. Thank you.

Tired of getting Spanish adds
Going to delete app I don’t speak Spanish and don’t plan on learning.
App not working
I use to be able to get the app to work and after an upgrade the app never opened on my iPhone I just buffers
Major league frustrating!
Too many ads coving the news articles. And THEN it’s almost impossible to close the ads and make them GO AWAY! What good is a news app where you can’t read the news?
New App
With the new update the app locks up and can get the news. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Same issues. So I deleted the app and loaded the WRBL app. That app works fine for local news.
Horrible since the upgrade
I can never get anything to load. Especially during breaking news. It always tells me to reload. Every once in a while it will load.
