It’s a scalping site.

It’s apps like this that are the reason you can’t actually get a reservation in nyc anymore. The reselling of restaurant reservations is the worst thing to happen to the food scene in nyc in a grip. Horrible app.

Okay, but lacks content and not novel

There’s nothing new here/not sure why all their content says the “first” marketplace for this. They do have better UX/UI than peers, but they also require an app download for a category that feels more web-search when I am hunting for a reservation/the booking site may be my first start, so they may need to revisit what the consumer journey looks like around their product. There are plenty of others like AppointmentTrader, Reddit threads to do this, etc. that have the function with way more content. See they are even pivoting to the wanted ad mode to generate listings/responses like AppointmentTrader does.

Ruining the reservation system

I truly despise this app. Reservations in NYC are already tough enough to get. Now ppl can just book tables and sell them on here for a profit. No one should have to pay $50 to get a table. I hope Resy can find a way to shut down apps like this

Not impressed

Unless this platform REALLY opens the reservation space of the standard “hard to obtain” res, don’t bother.
Everyday I see three benign restaurants in a 45 mile radius…..and IM IN MANHATTAN!!!

Never loaded, tried everything multiple times. Not even minimum viable product stage I suppose
