terrible place to purchase things
i have never had this much trouble buying something like not once have i EVER had to pick out my own tax jurisdiction. who the hell even knows what that means i literally asked my mom and she didn’t even know like no app has ever made me do that. also i think it’s dumb how it makes you go into the website to add your payment method and then it fails to update in the app so you have to refresh it and go through all of it again. then when it asks for your user id it was confusing until i realized its just your email like why not just phrase it differently so that it’s not confusing??

The app sucks
I love Grainger, but I hate the app. It’s trash. Grainger.com in a browser is a superior ordering experience.

It's a bit glitchy. It could be easier to use.
Search doesn’t work
When I use the search in the app it doesn’t come up with any results. If i google search, it will direct me to back to the app and then show up

Love Grainger but the app is horrendous. Search engine is the worst of all major players. If you do not type in exactly the correct name of what you are looking for, good luck. Often times you have to just use google to find what you are looking for. Very frustrating to use
The app and website are broken.
I used to buy 90% of my materials and tools from them but over the last month the quality of the app and website has dropped significantly. I now avoid it as much as possible.

Lousy details
It’s extremely hard on both the app and the website to find the accessories to go along with the main items that you sell in other words a plug that fits a solenoid valve or a cord that goes onto an appliance everything is difficult

The user interface and search engine are both very good and easy to navigate. Finding products and ordering are very easy.

Great place for getting materials in an emergency
Is it second time I’ve had a fan motor burned up on top of a restaurant. The last one that I ordered from Grainger was the fresh air fan to Suppy air over the vent hood where they cook and this one is the actual vent motor that sucks out the smoke in the grease and stuff. Both times they had it both times it was here next day. Absolutely perfect they can do without their van for one day they just couldn’t do without it for a week in Grainger always been good about getting things to me next day if they have it..

The Grainger app is kinda ok and whoever develops the app, does not put themselves to use it. Lack of common sense and communication to the actual user
