Improved and the only one I use

I’ve used both this and the WDSU one for years. This year I only used this one, except for the one parade it didn’t work for, Endymion. A nice feature is that you can drop a pin and it will stay there until you remove it however many days later. I am using that to mark where the Beshel News streaming cam is so I can tell how far away a parade is from it. (Having it calculate that in time, constantly updated, would be a nice new feature. I think the DSU app, does that.) PS None of the labeled options, where I’ve parked my car, etc. apply so maybe lose those labels.

Non functional

Only the home screen with ads actually pops up. It takes forever to load, and it doesn’t even show all of the parades that are happening.

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t work during parades. Keeps trying to download adds first and locks up

Doesn’t Compare

When it comes to parade tracker apps this on does the bare minimum, other “news” companies that offer the same apps have better user interface and more information. Was forced to use this one due to none of the other trackers being in our parades. Information on start time was inaccurate and the other apps contain the number of floats that are in the parade. Also something as small as telling us how long ago the tracker updated.

Track the end of parade too?

In 2026, will y’all be tracking the end of the parades like some of the other apps? If so, I definitely prefer WWL, but I haven’t seen that feature listed anywhere.

Most Useful App

Perfect. I do wish they included Baton Rouge metro parades, but considering it goes from nola to slidell to houma, I’m not complaining one bit. I LOOOOOVE this app!!

This is the 2nd time I have downloaded the app and Thibodaux has more than one parade, but only one is listed.

Thanks for getting the app! Sorry we are not tracking more parades in Thibodaux. If you know anyone who would like to drive for us next year, please reach out to us at krewe@nolaparades.com & let us know. Have fun & see you on the street!

Almost perfect

All I’ve ever wanted was the ability to filter out parades in regions that are irrelevant to me. I don’t need to know what parades are going on in Houma or Abita Springs.

The app currently lets you sort by region, turn off notifications by region, and favorite parades…but STILL no option just to filter out regions altogether.

Most people using these apps only want uptown parade information. I’d pay money for the feature to finally be included in one of these apps.

Great idea for next year! Have a great time at the parades & see you on the street!

Make sure to redownload!

If you don’t redownload, it will show you last year’s info. But the new app has some new features that are pretty nice, like dropping a pin where you parked.

Thanks, we're using GPS routers this year. Have a great time at the parades & see you on the street!

This is a parade essential!

I am constantly using this app during the carnival season. It’s a great way to keep track of where the parades are. There have been nice upgrades to the app that allow you to find friends on the route with point point directions. It also helps you keep track of what you plan on going to with updates.

Didn’t stay current

Was disappointed with the app for the first parade this season. The tracker didn’t update during the parade so wasn’t able to use it as a resource.

Sorry you were not able to use the app. We've made a few improvements and sometimes the parade stops for a while, but we will do a better job of letting you know when we're not moving. Have a great time at the parades & see you on the street!
