Please get Maya off the weekend anchor desk. She cannot pronounce words correctly at all. It is a very poor representation of what is otherwise a great news team. She does fairly good as a field reporter (although can get a bit “over the top” on that. But after all the time she has done weekend anchor work, there has been NO improvement in her pronunciation. Maybe a little coaching or pre-reading the stories before going on the air would be in order????

Very efficient with delivering news and breaking news.
Frustrating Navigation
You see a headline that really grabs your interest, but don’t get your hopes up that you may actually access the story. After watching a couple of long ads, you will probably see an actual newscast that occurred several days ago that doesn’t even mention the headline you are there for. Look long enough and you may find the story but not before wading through several more ads.

I enjoyed the WYFF News 4 app and it was awesome!
Customizable alerts??? Riiight….
This app alerts you for every single “news” story they cover. Fluff pieces are not breaking news. I have so many of the alerts un-checked (politics, sports, etc.), but I get them anyways. I love the news station, but the app is trash.

Difficult to navigate. Same stories stay on site for days with no update. Will probably delete this app.

Coverage
I don’t think news coverage is enough for Pickens and Oconee counties. We very seldom see news that is relevant to us. We get better coverage from Malarkey News on Facebook. Sorry but it’s true. I mostly only watch News 4 for the weather. The weather coverage is awesome.

This app really overuses the term “Upstate” in its news articles. Why don’t you just give a city or county location so the reader can determine if the news affects them or is close to them. And why do so many articles remain on the site for days with no updates.

Keeps crashing
This app continues to crash, I can’t even scroll down to pick a story to read without it bouncing all over the place. Can’t read a thing. Please fix it.

Gimmicky
App shows you vague headlines to get you to click into the app where you are bombarded with ads. The videos play without asking and the volume is always on, even if your phone is on silent. Overall just not built well.
