What company sells hardware that *requires* software to function, yet their own app is utterly useless due to it crashing immediately upon connecting to the hardware’s WiFi? The moment I connect to my brand new XR18 the app immediately shuts down. I can’t even get to the “home” screen unless I disconnect from the board. App devs have apparently abandoned X Air… a shame because the hardware is so good!

Was good till recently
All of a sudden the app is force closing before I can connect. Uninstalled, restarted iPad and still force closing after opening.
Unable to connect to XR18 access point on iPad.
I’ve tried multiple times to connect to the XR18 access point, but haven’t been able to. I’ve also tried using different iPads with no success.
Discontinued App - fails on newer iPads
It would be a good idea to remove this app from the Store or at least refer users to the MX-Mix replacement app you are working on!!

App keeps crashing and won’t open. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

I’ve not been using Xair long. I have a xair16. The first thing I had to do was add an external router because the onboard wifi kept dropping out. Now for the big problem. The keys and sliders lock up. You will have to keep tapping until they go. This doesn’t work when you have to turn down the volume on a mic or mute or turn on a mike. I’m going to have to bypass it or lose my karaoke jobs.

JUST WASTED MY MONEY, SO IT SEEMS
Just bought the X-Air mixer only to find out the app crashes when opening. The hardware is a brick without the software. My heart sank when I read every single review in the last 6 months saying the app doesn’t work and just crashes when connecting. BEHRINGER FIX THIS!!! SO disappointed! Can’t even use my new mixer!

Crash Trash
Well this app worked in demo mode but crashed when connecting to real hardware. Making me question my purchase, when the official app does not work. It’s a brick without some way to control it.

Literally won’t open at all when wifi is connected to an xair18 in AP mode. App is completely useless.
Only works on old ipads with older IOS
If you can get an ipad with an old enough IOS then the app works great but it is a shame Behringer don’t update it
Crashes every time you try to open it
Having researched online it’s because it needs permission to access other devices on the local network, but it crashes before the iPad has time to prompt to allow access. So it’s completely unusable. I will use Mixing Station instead. Behringer - you really need to fix this asap, it’s embarrassing.

I am using an M4 iPad Pro. Once the Wi-Fi is ON the app crashes. My friend has an iPad Pro M2. That works perfectly fine. Please fix the app. Thank you

Zero support for iOS 26.3
Everything was “working” until Apple did a software update. Now it won’t even load. XR18 is a great mixer but to use it I must use a 3rd party app MIXING STATION or switch to windows or Android. Basically buy some more hardware! Behringer should support this product much better! I spent many hours watching their tutorials only to completely waste my time. Sour taste for Behringer products.

Behringer, FIX THE PROBLEM!!!
Bought the mixer, external router and iPad all brand new. It only works with windows laptop via Ethernet! So disappointed, app crashes every time I try to open it!
