I installed the fire alarms about a month ago and couldn’t be happier. I tested with real smoke to make sure that they were working. I installed five in total, four in my house and one in my attached garage. Gives me great peace of mind that if one of them detects smoke they all go off so that I will for sure hear the alarm even if I’m sleeping in another room. The other thing I appreciate is that their app is stable and works really well. Highly recommend!

Arrived with 4 sensors fully charged, set up went well, doing their job in 4 locations.

Works okay can see both smoke & CO detectors.
Great product
Set up the water sensors and actually had a drain pie clogged the next day. The alarm went off on my phone and I was able to drive home to deal with the issue before any damage occurred.

Bug with iOS app
I’m unable to add a new device (water leak sensor SWS0A, 5th device connect to hub so well under the 50 limit) to my SBS50 base station through the iPhone app. The base station says it’s connected but the app shows an error when adding the device and keeps asking me to retry. Every retry keeps repeating the same error loop. Eventually the base station says that the device has not been added. As soon as I tried it with my android phone the device added smoothly and showed online and I was able to test it too. As soon as I logged back onto my iPhone the new device was showing as offline but once logged back into my android phone the device was showing as online.

Great piece of kit
I think it’s a must have if you have a garage and lots of rooms in your house if a smoke alarm went off you wouldn’t hear it in a single room but with them being linked you would definitely hear it a fantastic idea just as good as what you get in a retail unit
Easy to install.
Yes, easy to set up. Having these was required by my new property insurance company (I live in a hi-rise). I was surprised to find an annual charge.

I've tried several different brands and this one is the best! The way they sync up with the app and can control each individual detector is light years better than the others! I would highly recommend!!!

Wireless Smoke Alarm Doesn’t Work
Only 1 of three will connect to 2.4 GHz network. Test function does not work. Software cannot detect when offline. Do not recommend.
Great App
Recently purchased the Radon Detector that is used in conjunction with the app. The app is designed well. It displays just the right amount of information without feeling too cluttered. The trendlog displays Radon, Temp, & Humidity as seperate graphs.
About the only tweaks that would be nice would be to display the STA. Another item to request is to be able to overlay the other metrics on one graph trend screen such as using a checkbox to enable or disable each metric.

I installed this to manage a radon detector. It gives so much more information than I expected, and it works really well.

Had FIRE but NO Alert
So had a significant fire and the app did not send an alert. So now they have a paid for call service but why can’t I just rely in the app. I could also rely on an API access solution that I could control or have a web hook but X-Sense doesn’t allow that. Companies who don’t allow API access always fail eventually. I kitted my entire house with 7 units x-sense smoke sensors and now I am going to be removing them unless API access is allowed. Joke is I review tech and this is a big fail. They won’t care. No API is more money for them and their app failing they will just blame on Apple. But if I can switch users to a more API and Home Assistant friendly solution that’s supported, I will. Hello UniFi..
