Horrible app DONT EVER USE
I downloaded this app bc I need it for school but OH MY GOD IS IT TERRIBLE I HAVENT even been able to log in and support is no help. They simply say that the school is no longer using the app which is a blatant lie. I honestly don’t understand y anyone would ever make their kids use this disgusting excuse for an app or even how it got approved in the first place.

Reverts my changes real-time, can’t even write reflections
I came to the app because my school uses it and the website is NOT usable on mobile, and the app is somehow worse. First off, some pages just never load. Second, my recurring events don’t let me change some info that the website lets me change, so if a contact leaves an organization, I would need to create an entire new personal project. Third, I can’t even write reflections on the app, which I need for my school to accept my hours. The box for the reflections is just absent on the app, so I have to go to the unoptimized website just to write my reflections, rendering the x2Vol app completely useless. Either fix your app or make your website more usable on mobile. Please.

Completely Broken
I am unable to even log into my account on this app. I am simply stuck on the login screen whenever I open it, and regardless of whether I correctly type in my email and password, nothing happens. If the website was at least formatted for phones I wouldn’t be complaining about the app, because at least then there would be an alternative, but it isn’t so here we are. From what I can tell from other reviews, the app is riddled with issues. I cannot speak on most of them, as I can progress no further than the login screen, but I believe that speaks for itself.

This is the worst designed app I have ever downloaded. I only got this app because I thought it would be better than their horrendous website but somehow the app is even worse. I am only using this app because it is the only way I can log my hours for school. This app is mad outdated I’m honestly surprised they are still relevant.

Use the website
The app is so slow and isn’t synced to the website half the time. Every time I open the app it says it needs an update but there is nothing on the store PLEASE just use the website, it has so much more information and is easier to navigate than this shell of an app.
updates
i downloaded the app a week ago and everytime i open it, it tells me a newer version is available. i go to the app store to update it and it says there are no updates needed. what is going on?
Trouble logging in
This is very annoying to me I have tried to log in many times and I can’t do it. I got this app to volunteer for my school and I put everything correctly and somehow it won’t work. Ive tried to reset my password many times and it won’t work. It is very annoying to me because I need to volunteer for school

No Google Sign-In
The website version allows you to sign in with Google and other services, but this phone app only allows you to sign in using an x2VOL account. Not good for me because I used Google to sign up.
Always says to need an update and deleted hours
Always says it needs to update when you opened it and it never does when you go to the App Store. About a week ago I went it to add my hours and it says they are gone and it just loads forever. I only downloaded this app because my school switched to it and I honestly wish we would have just stayed the same because this app is so stressful.

Unable to login
Downloaded this on two different phones and am unable to login. The “submit” button simply won’t accept my credentials. My login works fine on the website.
It needs drafts!
This is a very good app but you need to put the service hours immediately and if you close the tab it does not save.
Literally not letting me use the app
It says there’s a new version to download, but the last new version was made 2 years ago.
Absolutely impossible to use
The only reason I got this app in the first place was because I needed it for my school. I have never written an app review EVER so this is when you know it’s bad. First off the opportunities tab takes forever to load, and every single time I open the app it says it “needs an update” and “to open the App Store” so that is what I’ve done multiple times and no update is needed. I’ve seen another review talk about this so it can’t just be me. What prompted me to write this right now was that after it said that and I just clicked “ok” because that’s the only button you can click it kicked me out of the app. I thought maybe it was just a glitch or something but every time after that I went back into the app and clicked ok. It still kicks me out. I can’t even be on the app or look at opportunities for longer than 3 seconds until it kicks me out again. Fix this now.

This is the worst app, it forces children to do child labor which is bad. Should ban app immediately.
Emotionally this app deserves Zero stars.
The app INSISTS that it needs an update and to go to the App Store to update it. Go to the App Store. Last update was more than a year ago. Eventually it stops letting you see any of your information. Go to the website. Somehow shows you even LESS. It’s also so inconvenient that you aren’t able to see any of the information from the hours you submitted, so you’ll never be able to know what email you sent the verification to because OF COURSE the ‘resend verification’ NEVER WORKS. 0/10 honestly made everything so much more stressful. I hope whoever made this gets toe fungus permanently.

One of the few times the app is worse than the website
x2vol is almost useless as an app. It’s always a 50/50 chance if the app will even load in the first place, let alone function correctly. I can’t believe it, but their clunky website is better for submitting volunteering time than the app.
