Shame on verisk
Their products are typically stellar. This app on the other hand constantly freezes. It is full of bugs. Constantly needing to restart. Even then it will not accept the item and freeze.

This app doesn’t do anything
I download this app, and it tells you to set up an account. So I did that. Then it tells you to set up an account for about 10 other apps. None of the apps even open or do anything. It’s like a app that is an ad for other apps that nobody has completed.
Save your money
The Mobile version lacks many of the features of the desktop version. You cannot draw plans in the field, no Lidar support and you cannot use the online version with your mobile device. Tech support told me they have intentions of adding these features, so why spend 100.00 a month on something that doesn’t work. There are several cheaper better apps out there. Verisk is stuck in a windows programming mentality and need to seriously update their thinking to remain relevant. In this day and age if your people can’t use an app, across all platforms, with all features, why bother.

Not what it used to be.
So I have been apart of this program when it was in it’s bata program. I have went through all the different ups and downs with this program. The online platform in the beginning wasn’t all that great. The app was better but had limitations. Seamed like most of the problems where being handled effectively. For several months now I have been told they are working on the issue about adding a header or footer to the proposal. I was told you have to go online to add them. When doing so I use safari and found it was not working well. Requested a solution for this problem and was told the app doesn’t support safari. Had to use other platforms I don’t have or use on my tablets. Next problem that came this last update is Now the app will not stay in landscape layout. This is a problem when using a tablet with a key pad. Asked about this new problem and they said it was never intended to be in landscape layout from the beginning. I told the representative why would you not have it in landscape layout. I now can’t use my key pad to add the note I like to add to the line items. She said use the online platform or get a blue tooth keypad. Well I’m now looking for a new program.

Bugs
For the monthly subscription cost, you would think they would have worked out the bugs that continuously occur when attempting to add specific line items. Example: Install lath over metal, when changing the sqft it continuously freezes. This is an issue with numerous line items.
Update issues
I’ve been trying to use this app for the past week or so it says it needs an update but it won’t do it every time I try it will load for hours and the update never gets done
Log in failure!!
This app will not allow logging in, it just acts as if it will log in but does not. I have deleted app and reinstalled to no avail. On two different devices even. Not happy with this app. Perhaps if you fix this problem, I may use your product.
Beta test at best
What was once a useful product is reduced to a dumpster fire. And waste a time, remove a working program replace with a trendy app based tool that almost works charge a professional fee, and stripe out what is need to function and replace it with a pay wall. Avoid tell they get it working or figure out how to get it outta its non bata build.

Not very cooperative at times
App overall is pretty good and useful, but it would be a much better app if it didn’t glitch so much. Somehow a 40k bid turned into a 320k bid when i removed the tax jurisdiction to nothing so that I can see the price drop.
Also, some prices wont take after I submit them. There are multiple bugs here in need of fixing, especially considering the price of the program.

Stuck on loading screen
This is A great app but for over the last 2 weeks I have not been able to log in after providing my credentials I just get stuck on a loading screen.
Can no longer add additional clients
App freezes and closes itself when i try to add new clients. When i try to right into app again it get stuck in loading screen after i provide my credentials

It’s bad.
This app needs a lot of work. The measurement feature doesn’t work at all- and crashes each time you try to use it. There is seriously no way to manually enter dimensions?!

We apologize for the issues you have experienced. The app will allow you to manually enter dimensions. When selecting to "Add dimensions", instead of selecting "From camera", select "Enter manually". Here you will be able to enter the L x W x H of the area from which items will pull the appropriate quantities. We'd love to learn more about your experience in using XactRemodel. Quick to use
First off, I have experience using xactimate for insurance work. It definitely helps when using this app. Without some background it’s gonna be harder for you to use. I can do $100k+ estimates in under an hour so it’s really nice.
Best feature is you have stuff preloaded like a basement finish or addition and it populates the estimate with the line items. Being able to print a components list is also very nice when job planning. Although in the last update this disappeared for me.
Measurement tool is crappy the tech is just not there yet. I would like to manually enter the measurement but you can’t.

Poor Service
Customer service website is down, app will not connect. Phone support has a $20 per incident fee! This is terrible customer support for an expensive app.

Issues with bid item line items
The app is not changing the pricing of my bid item entry’s. I used to be able to specify how many and a dollar amount associated with this bid item. The markup would automatically be figured into this and display the price above. This just creates a lot more work for me as we have bids from our subs that we would like to add to the estimate but cannot because the line item is zero no matter what I enter. This worked fine until about a month ago. I’ve tried logging in to app support but the website says I’m not a valid user. Great app otherwise.

Great Tool!
XactRemodel Go has been a great addition to my business systems. I can create fast accurate estimates. I especially like the pre loaded estimates that I can edit. The price is affordable and the proposals are professional. I also like knowing that the xactimate database is the foundation of the program. Highly Recomended!

Not what I wanted
I bought a security camera and when I tried to put the app on My phone I got this app instead and it’s not what I wanted and I did not know until I signed up now I cannot unsubscribe from it. Help I don’t want to pay for this!!!
Don’t even bother
First when you download it, you have to subscribe for $40/month. Then AFTER you subscribe, you HAVE to create an account AND update the app before you even get to use it. Deleted it right away. Not worth it. Awful and stupid. WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY!
