X-com is the greatest strategy turn based game of all time I played xcom with my brother growing up each of us controlled 3 characters on missions and it was a great way to experience the game absolutely amazing

I play XCOM many times. Like chess the variables are countless and fun to engage the challenges. My GOTO escape. The difficulties are at a level I choose. I ask to debug the lockups. Crash reporting is helpful. Why can’t I get this game on Android phone products? Please figure out the overheating and heavy battery consumption problems. Revitalize, improve, and combine the older (Past, Special, ground, air, sea, and space) series. I almost lost my phone when I let a 20 year old play the game…

glitch
this games keeps glitching in the fireing screen mode the camera just stays locked on the soldier and i cant move and have to restart my game keeps happening!!
4 stars now due to frequent crashes

Can’t play game, won’t even let me into the main menu cause it can’t connect into the servers and won’t let play at all, what’s going on?
Excellent game indeed
I am having tons of fun playing this game. It is very nostalgic, I mostly prefer the interface to the console version, and it runs great, even on my several-years-old iPad.
Phenomenal port of one of my fave games of all time
Played about 30 hours on my iPhone 12 so far and in some respects it’s better than vanilla pc WOTC with plenty of great quality of life features I’m surprised weren’t in the unmodded version on pc. Very smart and snappy control scheme with big chunky buttons that are placed very well, basically the best way to play xcom 2 on the go imo
I never liked the alien rulers DLC but it can easily be turned off by going into your device settings, apps, xcom 2 and choosing which DLCs to activate. WOTC is integrated fully so you can’t remove that if you want the vanilla original experience but WOTC is an excellent expansion
Obviously the game isn’t as high res and crisp as the pc version even on full graphics mode but it still looks excellent, very clear and all the animations, little details and destructible terrain are all there. Some of the textures can look a little bad especially on the lost but it’s absolutely not a deal breaker at all
Runs very smoothly until my phone gets too hot then it chugs a bit but that can be mitigated with the advice below. Only had a crash now and again when making a manual save in 30 hours but it’s definitely very stable plus has plenty of auto saves.
Energy saving mode is great if the device gets too hot (lowers the FPS to let your phone cool off) and best graphics mode heats my phone up a ton but it’s nice to have the option for people with more powerful devices. Generally drains about 1% a minute of battery and I find taking the cover off my phone keeps it from getting too hot and causing the game to stutter. Runs absolutely great as long as you keep on top of the heat issue
I play with energy saving mode when I’m out and about and play performance mode when I have my phone plugged in at home and it runs super well like that
Only thing I really miss is the legacy soundtrack that was included as a free update on the pc version and the after mission photo mode isn’t there, plus the photos you take of bond mates and memorials as low res but these are seriously my only issues and I had to really nitpick for them

I have it and the game doesn’t load I played the first one on iOS when I am bored and I don’t have any trouble but this one it’s the complete opposite

Brilliant port of a classic - bug found though
Cant really fault this, plays and looks better than the ps4 version. Small bug, game crashes when you save while a solider is moving, apart from that hours are lost in this classic
Great game aside from constant crashes
