Desperate need for playability
I see great potential with this game. Simple, fun, all anybody can ask for except-
You NEED solo mode. Or at the very least a time out system thats as short as 1 or 2 minutes tops. Not 24 hours.
Until your opponent times out from inactivity after a couple minutes (1 or 2 minutes). This game will not receive its easy profiting it’s missing out on.
I am only giving a 1 star at the moment because, at the moment this game is unplayable.

Good game held back by being multiplayer only
I like just most everything about this game except that it’s multiplayer only. I could handle that if there was a practice mode or something. I end up playing experienced players who all see to get the first move every time. I’m then stomped into the ground without ever getting the opportunity to completely understand the rules of the game.

Primitive game
I love the concept of hex games but this game is too primitive. UniWar has a way better gameplay platform, including seeing damage before you move, seeing how much damage the enemy can make next turn and how far they can move, playing against AI, different factions and way more.
Good game but no ai
I really like this game but your have to wait a long time most of the time for the other player to make a move and there is no ai you can play against. If you make a ai it would make this game 5 stars
Fun but could be better
Great game, some maps could be adjusted. Feels tough to turn the tide by turtling on most maps and on others you win only by being more patient. Gameplay is intuitive. Repair should be automatic for all unused units though. Two turns to capture instead of one would change the gameplay on a lot of maps.
Also wish you could move through your own pieces, but maybe that’s a feature not a glitch.
Battleships are a bit OP, and don’t see a strategic purpose for the bomber yet.
Wish it had a bigger user base so I wasn’t facing the same handful of main people over and over and then the new guys on their first match or two.

Has potential but confusing
The hits and damage scoring is way to confusing based on terrain and so forth. Should be either better explained or simplified. Cool concept but not well executed.
Needs work
I can see why it could be a really good game but there’s a bug where the AI doesn’t take there turn so I cant rate it properly

Needs Balancing
The game is nice but there are obvious hard counters.
Army Maps? Mortar spam.
Air Maps? Stop making troops. Only make fighters and gunships.
Sea Maps? Frigates are literally worthless. Destroyers are hardly any better. Battleships simply cannot be countered. This needs to be fixed.

Battleship too OP
Yes it is the most costly but it needs a weakness so destoryers should be able to massive amount of damage to ships and aircraft since they also have anti air guns on them
Eigentlich super
Wie der Titel schon sagt, ist das Spiel eigentlich super, aber ich fände es besser, wenn es nicht nur gegen Online-Gegner ginge, sondern auch gegen eine CPU.
Beautiful game, just needs solo mode
XeeWar is an awesome game that seems to dredge up amazing memories of playing Advance Wars with my brothers. I love the graphics which are simple but effective, the units which allow for some strategy without being too complicated, and the easy interface. I would definitely give 5 stars except that I can’t play it without first waiting for another player to first complete their move. A solo mode that allowed for Human vs Computer would make this game incredible!

Needs fix for bevel
Will make this a 5 star game once they fix the game for iPhone X with the bevel. I can’t see how many credit I have to build things in game.

In App Purchase Bug
Hey, i don't normally write reviews but fora free game this is an excellent hex strategy game to play with friends, I love the simplicity and learning what unit combos are best etc. The thing that killed me was that upon buying the "Air Units" expansion the game immediately crashed and has since crashed every time i try to open it. Ive uninstalled and re-installed numerous times and no luck. Please fix this so i can restore the 5 star review.

Does anybody even buy the expansions
I love these type of games but it seems after buying the navy expansion I can’t find anyone to play against online, you should possibly make it free since it’s only a dollar for the first 500 ppl that play the game so more ppl will play it feel like I just wasted a buck lol

Les jeux pourrais être super mais il y a peut de joueurs et on peut faire peut de partie en même temps .. si au moins on pouvait effacer les parties où il n’y a pas d’adversaire pour en commencer une autre avec un/une ami(e) de plus je ne peux plus réouvrir les jeux depuis qu’on m’a invité ..
