Years on still the best linear sequencer
Long live Xequence 2
Legit
Some people can't read so they have trouble setting up the MIDI, but it works well.
Not AUV3
Title says it all…
No sounds at all
From what I gather, you cannot use the software to make music you have to buy other stuff which is really irritating as it does not tell you how to do this and it does not tell you that you would need to do this upfront. Sadly this is typical of the iOS store where companies don’t tell you that you have to buy things and then they get you to falsely believe that you’re buying software that is complete and then you get surprised once you’ve paid an initial amount.. disturbing dishonest.

Hurry up and buy
The best
I keep coming back to it again and again. Never disappointed.
Midi Studio Dream
This app is so underrated. I run midi synths and eurorack, with Blocks Wave and Launchpad. Xequence handles all the timing fine and links to Audiobus. It’s very stable and for midi only studio, I’d highly recommend it. So far it’s been really stable. Brilliant. To the dev, keep up the good work!
Absolutely the WORST,
most counterintuitive, inconvenient, anti-user, effort-DRAINING, BLINDINGLY incompetent, terribly designed, stupidly & inefficiently organized WASTE OF CODE IN THE APP STORE. And that’s saying something. If you have ANY EXPERIENCE working with ANY DAW ON ANY PLATFORM, you will HATE THIS WORKSTATION.

MIDI sequencer extraordinaire
The best just better
Great App
This is a really nice app with some great features, it makes lite work of things like midi time stretch and feels like it’s the foundation for an excellent app. Excited to see how this app develops. Don’t get me wrong, this app is already very capable… I have various DAWs and Midi editors and would not expect to need this app but I do find myself using it. It’s a really good for trying things out even you later on move to a DAW, this app without a doubt has it’s place. With regards to midi editor, it’s basic but it does do all the basics and does them well, unlike other various dedicated midi editors I’ve purchased that people seem to rave about, they may have lots of features but seem to be missing the basics or poorly implemented things like a usable CC editor Xequence has a good one. Xequence is a bit of kit well worth having and if I’d come across it sooner it would have saved me purchasing a lot of other apps.

This app in AuV3 would go crazy
Id use it a lot more, I hope they're planning on making it AuV3 in the future.
Best sequencer by Far
I’ve been using sequencers since the days of the Atari 1040st and this is easily the best I’ve used, what made those sequencers so good to begin with was was the rock solid timing and Xequence 2 starts there. Add to that ease of use and bundles of options and you’re only halfway to describing how good this app is.
What I like is that within minutes once you realise how it works you’re making music, no fuss just making music. With a background in Hip Hop, Disco/Funk and R&B I can get that elusive feel that’s so crucial to the end product, Xequence 2 gives me all the tools I need to do that and then some.
And with the most responsive developer I’ve encountered, Alexander even replied to an email on a Sunday and with a favourable response. What more can I ask for🤷🏿♂️👍🏿. Whether you’re making funky music or industrial and need a pure sequencer that integrates with your iOS ecosystem then this is the app for you.
Five Stars ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️ from me.

Awesome app!
I use it via wireless Midi between my iPad and Yamaha CVP. Works great! Would love to see tempo and time signature tracks added, but does everything I expected it to do. Quick quality support for questions as well!
Does not work properly, not even compatible either
Can’t get this to work… save your money and avoid this one.
A very satisfying ride so far!
Xequence 2 is proving to be as good as I hoped it would be from all the favorable reviews I’ve read.
It’s got what I need, the interface is clean and no nonsense, it connects to everything I want it to and it works in my phone as well.
What’s not to like. Get Xequence 2, get to work!

Excellent App
Was looking for a good while for an intuitive and stable MIDI editor app with enough customization and control. I am dig’n Xequence2.
Tempo and time signature
Please let me change tempo and time signature in the middle of the music. Following are Japanese. こんにちは。 廉価でごくシンプルなMIDIシーケンサということで、DLさせて頂きました。 ただ、曲の途中でテンポと拍子を変えられるようになると、非常に助かります。更新お待ちしております。
mind blowing
you can tell the designer of this sequencer actually makes music. i lobe this app, use it all the time alonngside others. top notch, very impressive. thank you for making this 🙏
