Doesn’t work
Opening and setting up app seemed to work but completing the workflow shown in videos and marketing material the app crashed repeatedly. This might be a bug but this isn’t polished.
Worked once
Sadly it worked once and then never worked again. Would not recommend.
Got acquired and went downhill
I've been using this app for years and suddenly, once it was acquired from the original founder, it's started to become buggy. The inset no longer auto-detects the main color in the screenshot making the border just default to white. And since most of the screenshots I take don't feature a white background, this app is now of no use to me. On top of that, even if you don't add an inset there are often 1px white lines that show randomly on one or multiple sides of the screenshot. Really sad to see this happen to such a brilliantly simple utility. If you don't care that the inset feature doesn't work (or that the borders are always white) I guess it will work just fine. But in my day-to-day, it's no longer an option.

Solid app that makes it easy.
I’d be a 5 star app if I had the ability to create my own backgrounds or at very least, pick a few different gradient colors myself.
