Phone battery usage is too much
If leaving this app open in background (as required for the Bluetooth key to function) the app draws huge amounts of power from iPhone battery. Developer should look at reconfiguring the scanning to ensure not constant load on processor + battery

I like the car and most things work well. Except the car door unlocking via your phone is so slow. The car linking with apple play never works and XPENG themselves don’t care about their customers - the customer support stinks, they never answer emails

We usually have decent relationship with the car via the app, but in recent days my app won’t connect seamlessly with the car. Can’t adjust charging or see battery %. I’m the primary driver but it my partners car. He’s having no issues newer iPhone than mine), but when he launches the app, mine suddenly updates in line with his 🤷🏼♀️Disappointing.

Connection speed between the phone app and the vehicle.
This app works flawlessly 99% of the time. The only downside is the wait time for the initial connection between the app and the car when you want to unlock the door. The response time after approaching the vehicle is about 10 seconds, which feels like eternity - especially when it’s raining. XPENG, please improve this matter as it’s a really good car.

I love this car but the only thing I can say the Bluetooth key doesn’t connect to my phone and I can’t use the reverse and auto car assist

Auto Lock / Unlock
Most the time it doesn’t work properly- you need to stand by the car for 30 seconds to unlock and it locks before you get a chance to even plug in to charge…

Car is great software integration really needs more work . The unlocking and locking of the car is far too slow and you are literally waiting for the door to open .

Solides Fahrzeug, aber App-Funktionalität enttäuscht beim XPeng
Der XPeng macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck - modernes Design, angenehmes Fahrgefühl und solide Verarbeitung. Leider gibt es beim Modell P7 einen großen Wermutstropfen: Die App bietet keinerlei Remote-Steuerung oder Kontrolle. Funktionen wie Klimaanlage vorab aktivieren, Fahrzeug orten oder Türen verriegeln - Fehlanzeige. Gerade in dieser Preisklasse und bei einem so tech-orientierten Hersteller hätte ich mehr erwartet. Hoffentlich wird das Update nachgereicht.

Die angebotenen Funktionen sind außergewöhnlich und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Reaktion am Auto ist fast real time und klappt immer. Die App ist weniger ein Info Portal, sondern eine echte Fernbedienung. Weiter so!

Während die App weitestgehend gut und zuverlässig arbeitet gibt es viele Kleinigkeiten die negativ herausstechen:
1. Nach ca. 5 Minuten zeigt das Widget an, dass die Fenster offen sind, obwohl sie lt. App geschlossen sind.
2. Texte in deutscher Sprache werden teilweise nicht korrekt umgebrochen.
3. Die deutsche Übersetzung könnte besser sein.

Apple Watch Unlock Function
please update apple watch use bluetooth unlock to the car, this function in china few years already, why xpeng international only can use data to unlock( and 10 times got 9 times is failed to unlock, need to use phone unlock the car) , bluetooth more stable and fast….
Bluetooth key is terrible
The app has some nice to have features (remote summon, heating/cooling etc.) but the main thing it’s used for is locking and unlocking the car which is terrible. Most often won’t unlock at all and have to manually unlock (Bluetooth won’t connect or Bluetooth needs to be manually connected). Xpeng really needs to sort this out. So many users reporting the same issue.
