Firmware update doesn’t work
Poor quality and no support
Purchased the XTRAK 50 Pro to use with this app. The poor quality of the app and Bluetooth implementation is compounded by no support from Uniden. Problem 1: Uniden support simply don’t reply to support requests via the feedback link on the app. I would expect answers or acknowledgement within a week. Problem 2: Despite using Bluetooth 5.0, the radio can only use Bluetooth to connect the this App OR a Headset. Problem 3: The firmware update function doesn’t work Problem 4: The radio settings in the app are mismatched with the radio settings. Try disable VOX in the app for example. Problem 5: They advertise that it will work with car audio. So far not able to pair with a modern Ford audio or Honda bike.

I think this product was released before being properly tested.
It seems to be very limited in audio connection and the app is unable to update firmware.
it seems unlikely that Uniden will be able to fix issues without returning units since firmware cannot be updated via app.
I’ve tried 3 separate XTRAK 50 Pro units. Only one managed to connect to Bluetooth audio headset.
Would be an awesome product if software bugs had been ironed out before release, but I wouldn’t recommend buying one.
