Always Wrong
I tried it on oak, maple, cherry and walnut, it gave the wrong answer every time. Even when I set it on North American species, it gave me obscure species that weren’t even close. Pointless app.
Inaccurate
Tried it in basic oak and maple. It kept identifying them as exotic wood species.
At is all Abisa!??!
After using the app on several pieces of u finished furniture that I was pretty sure weren’t all Abisa (which the app had said they were)… We had to take down a 70 foot Oak in our yard in Pennsylvania. As a test, I used the app on a piece of that lumber… and … again Abisa. So, this app doesn’t work - unless you have a piece of Abisa in front of you.

Wood identifier
This app has a minimal database and consistently mis-identifies my common lumber (cherry, maple, poplar, etc). I would not recommend this app to anyone.
Doesn’t Work Well
Every wood I have imaged into the app comes up as “Abysis” and I’m 100% sure it’s actually Mahogany.
