Great app...
I can always check the weather quickly and easily. It's easy to maneuver through and I can't find out what the weather is like anywhere in the world!
The old version is better
The new design is ugly, with heavy fonts and a dark background. The old design, which I had used for years, was light and airy — way better in comparison. Feels like self-mutilation and vandalism.
De-provement debacle
As recently as this weekend, this was my go-to weather app. It was very easy to read. It was also easy to manage and edit my list of locations. All that is gone now, buried in heaps of information I don’t need but cannot ignore. Especially annoying is RealFeel®️, a sort of bespoke heat index that delivers higher numbers - why? Does the heat index not make us feel miserable enough?
I don’t think they did this for weather nerds, who can choose from many other detailed apps. I’m just a grownup who wants to know what to expect outdoors. I don’t want an app to tell me how to dress for it. You’ll find something here you never wanted.
I really hate this app now and will replace it with another weather app as soon as I find a clean simple design, unless Yahoo offers a retro option.

Where is the dewpoint?
I preferred Yahoo over the others because of that feature. This version skips it ☹️
Wrong Geolocation
The previous version nailed my home geolocation perfectly. This version gives me adjacent neighborhoods instead. I can’t even pull my city up anymore by name when adding a location manually. I can pull up by zip code but then that’s what’s displayed everywhere, the zip code.
Was great until the resign
This was the best weather app until the redesign. I liked how I could add multiple locations and see the temp in all of my saved locations all at once in the sidebar with just one tap. Made me feel closer to family that’s scattered around the country. Now I can only see temps at one location as a time and have to swipe to see the next and the next and the next instead of being able to instantly switch to any location from the long list. The old design is the only reason I used this app. Now I’m going to go looking for another that works the way this one used to.

Why did you remove the Arabic language in the latest update (3.1.6)? We were expecting Arabic notifications to be added in future updates, but instead, we were surprised to see that Arabic language support was removed from the app altogether.

I have to wonder if yahoo’s weather forecast for Lithgow, NSW is even close to being accurate. Today is Wednesday, July 8, 2026. I have noticed for some time now, that the current day is not shown on the weather forecast. The long range forecast begins with the following day. I re-check the yahoo page periodically to see if this ludicrous error has been rectified, but to no avail. The current day does not show up on the page, which begs the question, is yahoo simply guessing the weather forecasts for Lithgow ? If this was a legitimate forecast, the first thing you would notice on the weather page, is that the current day has been somehow obliterated.

Why can’t the locations be shuffled around? And allow the user to pin the location of their choice? Would be handy for widgets etc.
