add background video player
great content, great articles, love the lack of algorithms/infinite scroll
just wished videos/lectures would keep playing when the app is minimized or screen turns off. would be absolutely amazing since im trying to get off of other apps and open up yaqeen instead when i feel unfocused.
background playback would allow me to put on lectures while walking, exercising, or any other activity i don’t need the screen to be on wasting battery or risk an accidental touch changing what i am listening to.

Beautiful
I love this app it’s so good to listen to whenever your doing something. Much better than watching on YouTube it’s easier to focus on the vid too. Jzk

Videos DON’T PLAY
I don’t know how anybody can play any video on this app. Maybe it is just a bug that affects only a handful of people. I actually used to be able to play feeds in the past bust now those stopped working as well. Initially I thought it was just a temporary bug that will be addressed but it has been over six months now and every time I come back here it is still the same thing .
So I beg and make a plea to the awesome developers of this app to please look into this.
May Allah bless you all!

Alhamdulillah
I had come across this app a year so ago, downloaded it and unfortunately did not engage much - perhaps it was the UI. Recently, had a pivot in my life and Allah SWT guided me to it and I am forever grateful. The content, the lesson, curation top tier - it’s really help me to take a break from socials and focus on my deen. May Allah SWT bless everyone involved in this app and wider Yaqeen Institute
