The latest update messed up the points by allowing you to insert an extra 50 points toward any column score on the first yatzy. It now makes no sense to fill in the yatzy score column.
Updated response: Actually since subsequent yatzys still only award 50 points instead of 100 points if you have to put a zero in any column during the game it makes the most sense to put the zero in yatzy since there now isn’t a penalty for doing so. If you get a yatzy after putting a zero in yatzy column you’ll still get the extra 50 points plus your dice score. Needs to be fixed.
