Next to useless
As others have noted, this app is next to useless. The controls on the “new” viewer are horrible, and the legacy was barely passable to begin with. Nothing scales properly, and trying to rotate your screen to get some improvement somehow works even worse. If you can, try to use the website which is at least “ok.”

The app version will not let you read notes about boats that have retired, but when you go to the web version on an iOS device to try to read the notes there, it won’t let you as you need to use the app.
They’ve now tried to fix this with their new race viewer, but after looking at 3 boats in the Fastnet Race Tracker, it crashes.

They ruined it.
New update is unusable, cannot click on a boat to save your life and glitches out when you try to use it. No one asked for a 3D viewer!!

This may be the single worst update to an app since apps began. Unfortunately a good product ruined.

Good… but could be better!
Not the best UI… maps would really benefit from the provision of some sort of scale so you can get a feel for the gap between boats and start/finish points.

Badly thought out and does not work most of the time. Could be great but poorly executed.

Frustrating, slow, keeps crashing my phone and you can’t track a boat or class, none of the buttons work. Stupid app
Downloaded to follow a race - does nothing
Downloaded to see where Rolex race was, search tool finds the race - map doesn’t appear. Useless
Weak app
App locks/freezes after zooming in or switching between functions. Example, look up team, stats, go to map and locks up. Not user friendly. Needs work.

Thought this was a refined product from my recollection of past races, but apparently no longer. This makes it not worth following.

Very unstable app
This app is gradually getting less stable. Lack of development and updates is showing with various usability issues being encountered. For example (using the RORC Myth of Malham race) the app has frozen 3 times during zoom. It now only loads with a blank page or displays the map but is locked.
Yellow Brick you need to do more work on this as it won’t cope with the Fastnet 2023.

Poor
Trying to look at the Golden Globe race positions, but what’s the point of mixing sailors of the current edition with some of previous ones? This makes the map unreadable. Totally ridiculous.
Terrible app
One of the most prestigious races in the world, and an app that does not keep up. There is a reason this clunky crap is free.
Super buggy
This app would be great if it didn’t crash. It’s almost totally unusable for all of the races that I did this year since it crashes almost immediately. Last year it worked pretty well.
Zoom keeps resetting
I am trying to zoom in and follow one team, why does the zoom keep resetting?
