Very poor job set up 8 Dec 2025
Experienced very poor job set up, on job on 8 Dec 2025, despite at least 3 calls beforehand to make sure everything was understood. We had a party of 4 adults, 4 large cases, a walker and an electric foldable wheelchair. Job was to go from Mumbles to Swansea Bus Station, to catch a National Express Bus to Heathrow. It was super important everything was correct. This included being on time, in one of pre calls, I had asked that in order to be driving out the gate at 05:15, would the suitably sized vehicle turn up early. I was assured it would be here by 05:10. On the day, a normal sized car turned up late, at almost 05:20. We send 2 people ahead with their cases, whilst we waited on another vehicle. A good job we did, because they held the bus for a few minutes for the other 2 people to arrive with their cases and the rest of the stuff. Overall it was very frustrating, given how much effort I’d made to ensure everything was correct. It should be noted, that the drivers were absolutely fine and did their best to retrieve the situation. The problem was all the detail of our requirements, were not passed on. Very disappointing, I would not recommend Yellow Cabs for this sort of requirement.

Lovely
The driver was just homely. 👍👍
Great Customer Experience
Second time with YC and another spot on trip. With Lala today. Great guy. Will continue with YC all the time now.
Great
Fabulous driver service was great didn’t have to wait long. Can’t fault it thank you
Priced themselves out of market
They charge way too much, a simple trip into town is now £11 plus, can get a bus for £3, greed will end the taxi soon enough
Smooth ride no issues
Fab to have a driver that I can understand and have decent conversation with,
Helpful
Good driver, gave us some pointers for eating out and advice about the taxi back.
I can’t book a cab
It’s was a great app at the start but now it’s not allowing me to book, I even did a pre-booking just like what it suggested. It’s been weeks and I still can’t book a cab. I’ve tried uninstall and install but it still doesn’t work.
Can’t sign in
The app just asks for my registration details but then says my number is already registered. However, I’m not seeing an option to sign into an existing account?
Perfect
Professional
Awful
Never texted me the verification code, so I could not use the app. Great work guys!
Worst app ever.
Bad service & everything is bad in this app
An Inconvenience
It is so frustrating that the service I need is just a few clicks away, but I can’t access it because the app refuses to send me a code to create an account despite tapping resend profusely. What a waste.
App doesn’t even open.
Shuts down immediately upon opening, no update available. Company only lets you book a cab through the app. What a stupid business model.
Too pricey!
Nice app and all but very pricey. Why is the meter always on £1.80 when they arrive and why should the meter be reading in traffic?
Never arrive on time
I used to book a taxi to go to campus, and i always book the night before, and always came 20~40min late on the second day morning(9am), i always late for lessons, "why," i even book on the day before, still late, should it be arrive on time?
Can’t actually book taxi
Every time I try to book a taxi, I either get an error, or I get the booking cancelled a second after booking. The main point of the app doesn’t even work.
App
Unable to set a destination through the App. It would be nice to have an estimated price. But otherwise, it’s good
App is good but my last driver ruined it.
Never had an issue with this company or the app until one of the drivers turned up early, and then drove off and cancelled the cab because we called him 30s after he called us (we missed the call) even though it was still earlier than we had booked it for - leaving me to “walk” to work on crutches because he couldn’t be bothered to wait. Was also extremely rude over the phone when we asked where he was...
