Nothing But Ads
The free version of this app leaves a lot to be desired. Geyser times are not provided as promised or are harder to find than the lost colonists of Jamestown. The pictures are gorgeous, but are largely just from Shutterstock, and the map is great, but is supplied free from the parks service, so no biggie there. Just not impressed and didn’t find anything useful.

Tours
App is good for reserving tours but provides no real information for anyone not looking to spend money but just travel the park.
Lord of text on the app
There is a ton of reading with small text on the app. Although there is a lot of information. I think it can be thought out better allowing for bigger fonts, more separation and headings.
Prices for food
Need to redo prices
NOT THE OFFICIAL APP!!
This serves as a bunch of ads for businesses and does not really provide much information about Yellowstone itself. Avoid like the plague!
Get nps app instead
No geyser times, bad UX and UI
Kept crashing when offline
I like the app, but whenever I don’t have signal (which is like the entire time in the park) the app produces an error and you can’t navigate to anything. Makes the app pretty useless.
Slipped by Apple screeners - shouldn’t be in store
First time I’ve downloaded an app from Apple store that appears to be designed to do nothing but get you to sign up for their service. Eg, click on Hotels and it insists you sign into an account. Large ads appear constantly. I deleted this stinker immediately.
Awesome
Awesome
Yellowstone National Park
This was our first time ever coming to Wyoming or Yellowstone. We are so in awe of the beauty and the magnitude of the park. I’ve watched many YouTube videos by various people and the park Rangers’s before visiting. None could never explain how truly magnificent the park is. The mountains, the huge Buffalo, old faithful and the hot springs and geysers. You have to see it and experience it for yourself to really rap your mind around this park. I have and it is awesome.

Basically a bunch of ads...?
This app mostly just has a bunch of ads for tours and experiences, plus some expensive in-app purchases. Go get the totally free NPS Yellowstone app instead.
Scammy
The app is poorly made and it trying to sell you things constantly
Awesome place
Yellowstone is a national treasure!
Lame app
Does not have much interesting information and is really just trying to sell me things. No thanks !
Useless and BOGUS !!! It’s Covid-19 people!
The App does not reflect operating reality with food and services closed throughout the park. LISTS OF BREAKFAST ITEMS YOU CANNOT BUY? C’mon. Shame on all including the NPS to allow this ‘fake news.’
WILL DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD BY PROMOTING UNPREPARED TRAVELERS TO VISIT.

Tour booking app not an actual guide
Most of the free content on here appears geared towards selling tours vs actionable itinerary information - would not recommend
very confusing and not useful
using this app is a waste of battery power, useless in the park unless you pay. would not recommend might as well use a map- has the same information
It has a map
It has a map and very cumbersome articles.
The AR feature does not work - and with limited cell reception in Yellowstone NP many features of the App are useless.

What did I just buy?
What a complete waste of money. Made by someone who certainly has never stepped foot in Yellowstone. App does nothing! It’s just links to buy tours that cost $500. Am I missing something?
Never Disappoints
I first listened to GyPSy while in Oahu for a wedding. It turned the one day of free time I had into an epic adventure. This year, crossing the country with only a day to spend here and there, this series made Yellowstone accessible and amazing. We learned so much, stopped at all the “must do” spots and had an AMAzing Day! Can’t wait to go back next year and finish the loops. If you are in Yellowstone, this app is a must have.
