Review
Earlier in the past there were many tours of Art, Architecture & landscape which were v informative!! So sad to see none of them were there and only a few tours which does not give credit to this wonderful museum!!!
Perfectly adequate
It’s a lovely no bells and whistles companion. I remember the days when you had to rent a player, so this is such a nice and free replacement for that. The painting audio guides are insightful and well narrated. It’s nice to be able to view the painting instead of spending time reading the side ‘labels’.

Not a great UI/UX
Apps designed for spaces should enhance the immersion of the user, minimize time finding what you want, and have fluid/integrated navigation through app sections. I find myself digging around trying to find what I’m looking at in person, looking at a map with codes that aren’t hyperlinked to the multimedia assets or exhibits, and unable to find relevant content when I’m in the physical space.

Next to useless
You have to manually enter the number of every single piece of art, no option to just play the gallery you are in.
You also can’t search for specific works, figure out where you are or where you are trying to go, and the app never seemed to know where I was even with precise location enabled.
For the best funded museum in the country it’s a really useless waste of battery life

Not useful for me
I didn’t end up using this at all. I assumed it would have an interactive map that could guide me to particular artists or types of art. It is really just designed for people who want to take tours or want to put in the audio codes of a particular piece they have already found. The paper map at the information desk was much more useful.
