Uber, but better
I honestly thought this was lowkey a scam but after using it for a while I saw how much cheaper it was than uber/lyft. I’ve honestly been enjoying my rides and with how much cheaper they are, I am always more prone to use it when I’m in a pinch. Overall, 9.5/10

The Future
I downloaded Yelo because it was cheaper and that was enough for me to switch. Uber and Lyft’s price gouging are out of control, and do not make the college financial experience better by any means. Yelo comes in with a revolutionary idea behind ride shares - one that’s cheaper, social, and provides an accurate picture of what the move is. Essentially, it does a lot of that asking around “what’s the move tn” “where you guys going” and integrates directly into the rideshare experience itself, while being cheaper. Familiarize yourself with Yelo - it’s in it for the long run.

Best Rideshare Ever
This app is going to be the next big thing. I paid 6 dollars for my ride, and my driver was the chillest dude ever. It’s also really cool that they let their drivers keep 100% of the profits. Yelo to the moon🚀

A Game Changer
This app has been a game changer for me. Rides are so much cheaper than uber, and every trip is enjoyable knowing that the driver is going to be another student and not some random person on another app. When I’m not going out, driving is such an easy way to make some spending money on my own schedule. The fact they take zero fees is insane and makes it worth while every time.

Best app for rides around my college town
I downloaded Desi after a friend recommended it to me, and I couldn’t have had a better experience so far! The drivers are trustworthy and do their job very well. They are also fellow college students and share a similar experience to me in that regard. I have stopped using Uber after downloading this app. It is very simple to use and has a great interface.

Comfort Level Unparallel
While prices beat out competitors by a mile. There is nothing quite like being connected with a fellow student. There was never a moment of awkwardness or feeling of not being safe. My ride was actually pretty lit. Guarantee your Uber driver has never pulled up blasting Mo Bamba.

I have watched the creation of Desi from a distance, and it has been nothing but inspiring. This is a project created by a community to serve those around them. They know their customers. They know their values. If you are a college student who needs to get from A to B, Desi should be the first thing that pops into your mind. Once this gets rolling, there will be instant change.
