App is filled with a bunch of racists and moderation does nothing about it. They have no problem deleting comments that are perfectly normal though. Says a lot about the people who run the moderation. The people on this app are terrible.

“12 hour ban”
It says I was banned for 12 hours yet I have been banned for a couple of weeks now. Meaning I can’t post or say anything on there. The reason for my ban was nothing inappropriate nor illegal and others have posted the same exact thing I did and they are not banned. Fix this cause it sucks not being able to use the app for what it was intended for, thanks.

They track people who spreads malicious funny comments about other people on this application. They will ban you if you send threat messages to other people and arrest those that make funny comments about bombs and other kinds of threat online.
Never gets old
Easily one of my most used apps and makes campus life way more entertaining. The communities are active, the app keeps getting better, and I love the newer features they’ve been rolling out. It’s also really cool seeing the team actively involve users in making the app better!

Overall great and fun app, but I’d love to see some small changes
I’ve been really enjoying this app since I downloaded it. It’s a fun way to feel connected to people on campus or people from other groups.
The anonymity is a blessing and curse. SO many creepy people, but they’re easy to ignore and it’s always funny to mess with people. I think the games are a fun addition. Having specific smaller group chats inside of your college is cool too. When I’m bored, I can send cup pong into a group chat and quickly find people to play against. Leaderboards are a cool addition as well. I don’t know how some people get such high Yakarma!
Some changes I’d want to see: More than 5 options on polls, AND being able to change your vote on a poll. I’m completely fine with ads since they’re not intrusive and the app is free to use, but it is a bit annoying when the ads pause my music or a video I’m watching. A search bar so you can look for specific posts or hashtags would be nice too!

When I gloopered all over the AppStore to blip the Yak he bit me back and said Yik Yik and I lost my MARBLES! The wip wap on my campus ate my pizza and tinkled on school buildings he's the pisser and no one knows who he is and I saw a bee in my window and the Yak came to me in a dream and prophecised that the world would end on June 7, 2069 when Dolly Parton rises from the ashes and punishes all who have never known the Yak. Funniest app if you’re in college
This app is so peak if you’re in college. You hear about EVERYTHING that happens on campus, some stuff useful, other things just interesting or funny

Worst app ever!!!
Once you start using the app for a longer period of time, it usually start having ads and showing local communities that are near where you are and things people don’t really care about. I got banned on this app due to posting things from medical reasons and they won’t even unban me. Such an ignorant company and dangerously rude service!!

I love yikyak
Yikyak has been the center of my life ever since coming to college. After coming to uni, I became engrossed with this beautiful app. I’ve always loved X (formerly Twitter), and now combine that with anonymity and everyone being on the same page? It’s perfect. You’re bored on campus? Yikyak. Nothing to do? Yikyak. Want to talk about your horrible professor without them knowing? Yikyak. It’s always the answer. And I really mean Always. I wish to keep yikyak in my further education and make this an app that can be used in any company. Please make this possible 🙏🙏
