What's New in Yikvot

1.2.0

September 8, 2026

Reposts now show up in the feed. When someone reposts a piece, it appears as "Name reposted" with the original underneath, so good writing travels further. A smarter feed. Brand-new posts get the top spot for their first couple of minutes, then the feed settles by admiration, so the pieces people love most rise to the top instead of just the latest ones. More control over comments. Edit your own comments (Kaeshur keyboard included), delete any comment on your posts, and report anything that doesn't belong. Mehfil cards, made for sharing. Long couplets no longer get cut off. A Mehfil card is now a clean bubble that fits every line, ready for WhatsApp and Instagram. Sign in with Google now always lets you choose which account to use. Also in this release: clearer password guidance when creating an account, a fix for opening other people's Spaces, chat photos visible only to the two people in the conversation, and the app no longer asks for microphone access it never used.
