What's New in Yipe 5

Yes, it has been far tooooo long since we put out a Yipe5 update. This isn't a major update, but does alter some balance issues, fixes a couple minor things and adds a new things or two. If you've enjoyed Yipe5 up to this point, please give us a rating in the app store! Additions: Two new grid rooms added. Increased graphic resolutions to allow for better display when played on iPad. Detects rotation events properly and allows game to be played in either left or right orientation. Balance changes: Monster HP increased for all monsters in the NED cave. All heal shop items that are used directly in the heal shop have increased healing amounts. Adjusted cave 1 a bit to add more monsters to get to final room. New characters now have starting HP increased by 1. New characters start with an extra healing item. Starting gold from King increased based on difficulty level. Bug fixes: Fixed bug with carrying capacity. In some versions, was allowing unlimited items. Other changes: Memory improvements to load most game tile graphics on-demand instead of keeping most of them always in memory. Various other minor bug fixes and text changes.

Can't restore purchase

Game is decent and I was looking forward to a quick replay but it cannot detect that I have previously bought it...

Excellent and Nostalgic

Being a lover of this series since its start, an app game is a welcome addition. Sure, it's simplistic. But it's got great humor and unlike many level-based games, Yipe doesn't make you grind hardcore in order to explore the world safely.

... so, where's Yipe IV?

Nostalgic and wonderful find

I remember playing one of the early Yipe! games on my old iMac and being instantly drawn to the crude graphics and charmingly corny humor. I am so glad that there is now a way I can relive the old days of playing Yipe! I haven't bought the full version yet because I'm cheap, but I have complete faith that it will be excellent.

Off the Mark

There's honestly no reason to play this game. It's not a role playing game, more of a then based hack and slash. It's painfully linear, in fact the game says it best "if it's more expensive, it's better!" It requires very little thought to grind through enemies and build up gold. There are no skill trees or decisions to make.

The humor? Good lord. Maybe someone in elementary education would find the dialogue amusing, but anyone over the age of 16 won't crack a smile.

I played the lite version then automaticly bought the in app purchase for the full on with only one problrm. Too easy please make more (a lot more) or make harder and more challenging enimies. Love the game though
