Constantly crashing
The app needs a lot of work. It’s constantly crashing. I have to sign in every time I use the app and sometimes the number keyboard will not load so I cannot sign in. This would be a very convenient app to have except that it rarely works.
Fails more than it works
During the past several months, this app “failed to connect” more than it connects m. It goes for days being unable to connect. It’s not a good app anymore.

Won’t load categories.
This app doesn’t work at all! I was excited to be able to access more libraries but the “Browse” wouldn’t load. ANYTHING. I stopped at my local branch library to ask why and was told I would need to come in on certain days to talk to a technician. Really? Why is there is zero help for the app online? I don’t get to town very often so the app is useless until then. If I ever get this straightened out I will update this review.

This Ap needs work
I have used other public library aps and this one is so glitchy it is not even worth downloading. There must be better off the shelf aps for libraries.
Crashes often
I often have to sign in again on the app. Tonight it crashed again and I could not type my library card number in nor would the scanner work. It’s frustrating.
Needs a lot of improvement
I use this app out of necessity for my local library. If I did not have to, I would not. I think it would be nice if when you do a search and tap on a book or result, that when you hit the back button, it doesn’t erase or restart the search. It just takes you back to the home page instead of back to your search results. It makes it frustrating if you are looking through different books and you have to re-enter the search terms every time.
I also do think you would be neat if they add more trivia facts to pull from. Considering it is the library network, you would think they would have more trivia facts instead of just the same two that pop up every time you open the app. It’s just a little things sometimes.

Why isn’t there a back button?
It’s frustrating to put in a search, then click on a book, and then you can’t go back to your search results. You have to start the search all over again to go back to your listings.
Hold covers still do not display correctly
The description of the latest update (4/18/24) says “Cover images on the Holds screen will now load the correct images.” No - that has not been fixed. I even logged out and logged back in and I still get the generic cover images for all the books I have on hold. The cover images on the other screens (Checked Out, Discover, various lists) display correctly. Why can’t the app coders fix the hold covers? Very annoying!

Very frustrating app
I typically don’t write reviews, but I am in the hopes that they YLN folks will listen. I don’t expect the old app to return, but please improve this one! My biggest complaint is that it is very slow to load. I use the app exclusively, not my library card. So the speed in which I can get to it (if it hasn’t logged me out) is cumbersome.
It’s just not a great experience overall. I use it only because it’s what I have to use.

Goes blank
Goes to white screen have to delete app and download again, select library again, sign in again
Bring back the original!
After every 2 weeks or so it logs me out. Then, I have to re-enter my card number because it doesn’t save it. I also think the layout is not great. If you’re going to have a new app, don’t you think it should be better than the original?
Crashes
I have a book in mind that I want to put on hold, but every time I do a search it crashes and takes me back to the main page. I can’t search at all. I liked the old app, it was reliable and easy to use. Bring back the old app!
Doesn’t Work
This app doesn’t work at all. Crashes constantly. Can’t search for books without it crashing. Can’t place holds without error code’s popping up. Completely frustrating.

Crappy App
I dislike this library app so much!!! Please bring back the original app!!! Reasons to never use this app 1. You’ll have to sign in with your library card number every time you want to use the app. 2. You can view accounts on one account but it’s not organized anymore. On the original app you could view all the books and they were organized by each account. Now all the books are shown but not by which card they are on 3. I cannot place any holds!!!!! This is a huge bummer as I’m a homeschooling mom and I do a ton of research on which books to use in upcoming lessons. Do you do any research when making this new and “improved” app?!

Doesn’t Work
Just updated to this new app and the categories do not work. I cannot browse books, I can only search if I know the title of author I am searching for.
