What's New in YOLO

1.0.3

June 10, 2026

The People tab A new home for your people: the center tab now opens your whole social world: your circle orbit, friends, requests, followers, and following, in one place on both platforms. Drag friends between circles: long-press anyone on the orbit and drag them to a new ring; it settles right where you drop it. Release without dragging for the classic picker. Clearer tab icons: Bucket is a checklist, Discover is a globe. No more guessing. Results night: when the buzzer sounds, the challenge wraps properly: final standings, the winner crowned, your result: and share cards to match: a gold W card for the winner, a playful IOU card when there were stakes, and a "we finished it together" card. One tap to demand a rematch. Lifecycle nudges: your streak's on the line? The buzzer's closing in? Someone just passed you? You'll know. Join from anywhere: challenge links shared outside the app now explain exactly how to join ("follow @handle to join this one"). Creators are in their own challenge from the moment it's created. Cover search: challenge covers can now be searched from thousands of stock photos and videos, not just your library. Like counts that count: hearts on challenges now show live counts and never double-count. Report anything: user-created challenges can now be reported, and the heart/comment/share/report row looks the same on every card. Polaroid share pages: sharing a public YOLO now produces a beautiful web page with your photo, caption, and cheer count. Shared challenge and profile links got the same care: and every printed link now actually works. Links open the app: tapping a shared YOLO, challenge, or invite jumps straight to the right screen after install too. Tag who was there: achieved something with friends? Tag them on the proof. They get notified, and it shows on a new "Done together" shelf on both your profiles. Not on YOLO yet? Tag them by name and send their personal claim link: "you're in this one.": and the moment lands on their profile the second they join. Inspired by: add a friend's YOLO to your own bucket and they're credited on your post ("inspired by @handle"): and they hear about it when you actually do the thing. Verified profiles Apply in Settings: verification is free, opt-in, and for adults. Once you're verified, the mark shows on your profile in the app and on the web. No checkmarks for sale, ever.
Fixes & polish Images in the feed no longer get stuck as gray placeholders after fast scrolling: and big photos decode off the main thread, so scrolling is smoother too. Photos no longer vanish from the public feed after an hour.
Swiping the photo itself in the full-screen gallery now pages through the gallery (and pinch-to-zoom still works). Challenge invites in your activity feed now show "you're in" once you've accepted, instead of Accept/Decline forever. Invite a friend is easier to find: front and center in the People tab and the feed.
