I got this app because I had to prove my right to work in the uk for a interview.But it requires you to have a passport WHICH I DONT HAVE BECAUSE IVE NEVER LEFT THE COUNTRY and it wont let you confirm your identity! It wont let you even use a different way to prove it

How in gods green earth do people rate this above even 2 stars. 11 different times rescanning showing the exact same drivers license and itās the same garbage āsorry we canāt identify your obviously very clear drivers licenseā what could this app even be scanning for even more than 10 goddamn seconds that confuses it on whether or not itās real or not. Itās face scan is complete trash and assumes Iām 16 years of age when Iām 22, on computer mobile whatever platform it will keep messing up the ID scan every single time, tell you thereās nothing they can do, you sit there looking like a moron and theyāre busy selling your information because Iām somehow meant to believe my clearly legible license needs to be scanned ELEVEN TIMES for it to still not work. The entire purpose of this app is undermined by the fact that it canāt scan a QR code, which is how the entire app works.

(EDIT-thanks for getting back to me. Though when I went through your FAQ looking for accepted places for ID it did not tell me to look back in the app as per your link. It just gave a list of organisations presented to. Unfortunately Iāve already deleted the app now)
So your faq states you have āPRESENTED ā the app to the met police and other UK organisations and various operations titled. So why havenāt these organisations accepted Yoti as a valid proof of ID? Also your chat bot says itās up to business to advertise if they accept Yoti or not. So whatās the use in me keeping this app for ID? if you canāt even publicly list who accepts it or not!

Cant even make a profile
It says my phone number is invalid, never had this problem with any other app. So I couldnāt even make a profile on the app. Then, I tried to use the browser age estimation for shein. It took the picture, deleted it and then said there was a problem. I tried it again same issue.

East to set up and will be useful. Long term security issues as always but will take the leap of faith.

And then required to provide information to a 3rd party who has no business requiring biometrics and telephone numbers. Deleted my account immediately.
