Don’t waste your time downloading this app. It doesn’t do what it says. It says put your phone on your passport to scan it. It won’t scan it. It’s a waste of time so don’t waste your time doing it downloading it.

Something odd has happened with the age verification thingy… after I downloaded the app and I verified my age etc, it glitched (nothing to do with the app) and it deleted for some reason, now when I try to log in and put the verification code in it says that it already has an account. So when I go to recover my account it says that it couldn’t recover it. And it just goes in a circle, I don’t know if this has todo with the app or my phone.

Verification is Inconsistent and Unreliable
I fully expect to get a generic unhelpful response to this, but literally why offer state id verification if you “don’t accept” that type of document? That is All I Have right now, I Do Not Have a valid passport, so what am I supposed to do? Looks like I gotta spend another 47 years trying to find a reliable id app again 🙄

Poor support
I’ve spent 2 weeks trying to get them to help solve a problem. I completed all their steps but the site I’m trying to reach has not apparently completed their end of it and it shows that it in process. Yoti’s response is I should contact the website support link but that is NOT CLICKABLE for me while the verification process is in limbo. I have asked Yoti numerous times to contact them for me and they keep on with same response. The site is Yoti’s client so one would think they would want to resolve it!

Absolute waste of time
I have used the same method on a government website to gain access to my account, however when I did it on Yoti it was completely useless and even though I have tried it many times to get it to recognise the document but it is unwilling, completely useless and would recommend to bellends.
