About

Practice your singing skills, whether you're a complete beginner, a professional, or anything in between. Use one of the 100+ bundled exercises, create your own with the app's midi-editor, share them with the community, or play exercises created by the community. You'll receive a score after each exercise, so that you can follow your progress and see weak points in you singing. There are many customization options available, so we encourage you to make the app feel like your own, whether visually, or behaviorally. Book lessons are also available.

What's New in You Can Sing

1.1.1

October 21, 2026

New • Time Spent Singing: double-tap the practice calendar on the Home tab to open a full screen with a chart of how long you sang each day. Choose your own date range, or pick the past week, month, year or all time. • The exercise intro screen now shows how long the exercise takes, all repetitions included. • Tap the tempo in the bottom right corner of the note editor to change it with a slider, right in the editor. • Tap the preview at the top of an exercise's settings to open the note editor. • The sliders in Settings > Visuals > Playback now show their value as a percentage while you drag them. Improvements • Recommended exercises keep up with your progress faster: great scores raise your skill level sooner, and your recent practice counts the most. • Text labels on your notes now shrink when they would overlap other text, in the note editor and during playback. • The note editor now opens with your notes centered on screen. • Harmony notes on the same pitch can no longer overlap. • A loading indicator now shows while more exercises load on someone's profile. • Closing the tutorial early now asks before skipping it, with a tip: press and hold almost anything in the app for a short explanation. • The microphone permission prompt now appears in your device's language. Fixes • Canceling a new text label in the note editor no longer marks the exercise as edited.
