When you download and open this app it just hangs while trying to communicate with the server. The Youdio website no longer exists, and this shouldn't still be downloadable on the App Store.
Does this app still work?
Iโve downloaded the app and it wonโt connect to the Internet and there doesnโt appear to be any support or links on the website.
Verification
I never had received the email so all this was is a waste of my time.
Frustrating
I had the verification email sent to my email more than once and even made sure my email was correct. But I never received the email. I made a different account with another email and the verification email still wasn't sent.
Youdio (Whole World Band)
This is a super App set up by Kevin Godley (10 cc.) if you play an instrument, like to sing, write lyrics or tap a cornflakes box with a spoon, you will love Youdio. You can lay down and upload a 'seed' video and audio track at the touch of a button- e.g. Rhythm or guitar. Others ( and/or you) can add other tracks e.g. More guitar or vocals. Then anyone can choose the seed track and up to 5 other contributions to make a video and audio song. There is a simple mixer page to adjust volumes and edit the videos ( so simple- just tap 1,2 or 3 fingers. Once happy you can upload to Youdio. Once uploaded you can Share by email, Facebook, Soundcloud, YouTube etc. Play along with Ronnie Wood, Taylor Hawkins, Dave Stewart, Stuart Copeland, Brian Hardgroove and loads more. It's FREE and EASY!!!

Fallen short
When I first found this app I thought it was the best thing. I was wrong, it has the same ol stuff on there, you used to be able to see all the videos that spawned off of the original. A lot of the videos are full bands rather then collaborations like what was meant to be. It does load better that is a plus, it used to have big problems loading. Great idea just doesn't seem to live up to its potential?

Oops something is wrong, like what?
Tried to sign up via email, kept saying something wrong, no indication of what. 6 char username, valid 1st & 2nd name, valid email, 6 char password mix of letters & numbers.
Went back to get the exact error message and just entered gobbledegook for names/password and it let me sign up. I suspect it was password length but not rocket science to actually give an error to that effect OR better still show what is required at signup.

Doesn't work
This app won't let you accept the terms and conditions so you can't play
500 internal server error upon email signup
I am getting internal server error upon email verification. And since my email is not verified I can't use the app, so the app is useless.
Do not buy this!
Once you get past the sell hype, which sounds cool, you have to buy tokens. Just to start a new session costs 200 tokens. Not even an opportunity to demo it.
Zero instructions
While the premise is great they have made zero effort to provide any detail instruction on how to use the program

Great concept, poor execution
Great idea but with terrible execution. The app is crashing on trying to upload about 90% of the time. It took me around 5 hours to get a 5 track mix uploaded. Two collaborators were not as lucky! Can't upload!!! The app didn't recognise my apogee mic, so recorded straight into the device mic. Such a shame, amazing and fun app otherwise. You have a cheek charging money for this guys.

No audio?
I'm not hearing any audio how am I supposed to record if I can't hear what is being played

Pretty cool app, hope it really takes off. What about a click track or metronome?
Good concept
But that's it. It's slow, and no way to filter out others you have no desire to see. They need something like vongplayer for iOS , that will sell!
Great concept, difficult to use
There are some bugs in the software and inconsistencies regarding hearing playback and the ability to isolate the incoming signals, but it's a great idea with really good seed tracks to play along with. Hopefully they will make a Mac version with better recording options.
No sound
No sound plays from all tracks.

It doesn't explain how to record music !!! I really want to do this but it explains nothing please help !!!!!
