Terrible layout and no points on surveys
The latest version is awful. The layout is terrible and you don’t get points for responding to surveys. Well that’s a great way of reducing the number of responses. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs sacking. And why on earth would I ‘chat’ about different topics to an AI chat bot which gets very irritating after a while? I used to receive an invitation to complete a survey, for points, at least once a week, and I diligently completed them, but I’ve heard nothing since this new app version. Probably because they’re now asking the questions in the app without having to give away points (cash). I now can’t be bothered to scroll down the long list of pointless (literally) surveys to the Daily Questions. So, YouGov, you’ve just stumped yourself with this latest app update.

Shame there is no way to resume a survey
Pretty good way to engage with surveys relevant to your interests, with incentives offered, however it is easy to accidentally exit the survey either by wanting to go back to a previous question (as sometimes the survey lets you) and absentmindedly pressing the wrong back arrow which instead closes the survey.
I appreciate this is user error, but it means that that entire survey is lost with no way to resume it. Similarly this can happen just due to swiping right when intending to scroll down. If there way a way to press "resume" the app would be better

BIOMETRIC DATA - they’re trying to normalize this behavior
After yrs now there’s seemingly no way to avoid uploading a personal ID to proceed with surveys. In the recent past you could bypass by following links in their emails & the app would stop asking for a while. I never even entered a first name for the “hi, what’s your name..” that appears at top of app, lol. Not using until this intrusion ends.

Too confusing
This is way too confusing to be useful. I’ll probably delete the app
CRAZY amount of your data they collect
And not from the surveys you take. Look at the data privacy on the app page. Health info, shopping purchases, basically anything and everything you do on your phone they are collecting. That’s a no from me dawg.

New update is horrendous- layout is terrible - if it aint broke dont fix it. Please reverse this as its terrible
Connections being web only is a disappointment
Love the app and the new upgrade, I just wish the connections didn’t rely on a desktop

I thought there would b an English version. Mine is Colombian with no way of changing it.
Revert the new update!
The latest update is god awful!!! It is laggy. The Home Screen is now organised in a weird list. It’s hard to work out which are proper surveys that give points. The daily questions are now at the bottom??? It makes no sense. Was this coded by AI?? It was fine before, why change it? So so so so so bad. Please revert it for the good of your company.

SCAM
This platform is a scam. They ask you to complete surveys and then when you redeem your reward it never comes. They do not have a phone number and their email support never responds. SCAM

Don’t send your ID to third party companies
Please sketchy they’re pushing so hard for you to submit your ID to them. Most likely to sell your info and they know all of your political opinions, so be careful.

Great app, I would say be patient to the service take your time and you do get paid out. I’ve made about £200 on it since I’ve been using this app over the years. I would say average £100 a year if you do every single survey but it does take time. And a lot of it is quite quite repetitive. But the key is to take pad in every single survey. It’s not a quick scheme to get money quick but more like a pocket top up kinda like putting change away.

Account locked
Ridiculous and disappointing. Spent hours filling out surveys, giving time and thought to each, to suddenly having my account locked with no explanation, no replies when reaching out to support, and I no longer receive emails with code to log in. Absurd and I would strongly advise those to avoid using this app so they don’t experience the same disappointment

Won’t give me anymore surveys
I got to 4,000 points then it stopped giving me surveys and its been a day and a half.
Issues with tremendous
I’ve cashed out and normally get the gift cards until here recently you gov will send me their email but the site where you get the gift card called tremendous a lot of issues here lately very difficult getting access to the gift card

Not trusting anyone with my Driver’s License

Got logged out so tried to log back in. It wants a code which would be fine but the code won’t send. They also aren’t answering emails

Not able to get past the “verify your ID”. Not sending picture of drivers license to a third party to get verified. Really bad idea.
