Dubbed and subtitled
Im Asian and live in the USA. I first downloaded the app in my phone to see if there my language dubbed and yes there is. So I subscribed and downloaded the app in TV, but i cant change to any languages dubbed. Yes, there is my language subtitle but it’s so small and cant change size. It’s so annoying.

Sign up/ login process outdated
I tried to login in to my Roku tv but it said it needs a Username and password, but I couldn’t see a way to find the password, because I made an account with google. Update the app on the Roku tv. It needs to show a login using google option. Fix now!

Lacking
No built in screen shot tool, random dimming of videos for no reason I can find that isn’t reflected on other apps, difficulties going in and out of window in window, I could go on. I have IQIYI, Tencent, and youku and youku is the one I find myself liking the least.
Can’t log in on tv app
I’ve started a subscription and deleted it in the same day. Everything was fine of my phone. Downloaded the app on my tv and nothing I did would let it log in. I was constantly told my email/username was innocent after JUST making the account. I’ve tried all day to make it work. Nothing. So I just deleted it.

Said $3.59 per month but they charged me $5.99
I’m not the only on complaining about subcription price and i took screenshot of what the app showed me monthly cost and what i got charged when i was paying. That’s very transparent that you charged me higher than what you showed on screen.

stupid vip
ive seen NO dramas that arent free. at best you get the first few episodes for free, like "veil of shadows" for up to ep 5. before, ive always known and remembered youku for being free since i dont have the money to get vip nor the membership on youtube, but now that reputation is ruined. i wait many days for a drama to release, only to find out i cant even watch it because im broke... not recommended if you dont want to be disappointed.

Promotion not a promotion 😡
I saw a special package for $0.99 and thought it would last for at least a week, but it only gave access to a couple of episodes. That’s on me for assuming, so fine.
Then I decided to purchase the VIP option because it showed a 40% discount from$5.99 to $3.59, which sounded like a great deal. But there was no discount at all — I was charged full price.
It’s not about the money, it’s the false advertising that’s frustrating. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but now I understand why the reviews are sitting around 2.5 stars. I really disappointing with this app! The reason I gave you this much is because of Zhang Linghe’s movie otherwise -0 😡😡

I paid for the VIP subscription & watched 4 VIP episodes but when I tried to watch the 5th one, it said only vip can watch it .?? I’m confused .you guys are just tryna scam people out of money or what ?
