Trash App and Trash Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my experience using the Youku Global app. The subscription pricing was misleading — the app displayed a first‑year VIP price of $28.99, but I was charged $37.99. The interface never indicated what currency the price referred to, which is unacceptable for an app downloaded from the Australia App Store.
When I contacted customer service, the response was unhelpful and dismissive. They simply told me that “Apple Pay cannot refund” and asked me to contact Apple myself, without addressing the misleading price display at all. This kind of customer service is extremely poor and shows no responsibility toward users.
The app experience itself is also very disappointing. The app sometimes crashes for no reason. If I pause a drama, it often cannot resume playback — I have to close the app completely and restart it. The audio language settings are frequently incorrect or switch unexpectedly. There is also no “skip intro” function, which every modern streaming app should have.
As someone who purchased both Youku and iQIYI VIP at the same time, I can confidently say that Youku deserves 0 stars. iQIYI is far more stable, user‑friendly, and reliable. I strongly recommend choosing iQIYI instead of Youku.

광고가 너무 떠요 ㅠㅠ 당연히 결제하고 보는건데도 광고가 1분에 1번씩은 뜨는 느낌 광고 뜰 때는 드라마 소리도 안 들리고요… 없애려고 하면 창으로 계속 들어가지고 너무 불편합니다 ㅠㅠ 자막은 그냥 넘어가줄만한데 광고 계속 뜨는 건 진짜 고쳐야 할 것 같습니다!
Vip access is not working
Even after taking the vip access, still it is showing all the episodes under vip and getting played.

Dubbed and subtitled
Im Asian and live in the USA. I first downloaded the app in my phone to see if there my language dubbed and yes there is. So I subscribed and downloaded the app in TV, but i cant change to any languages dubbed. Yes, there is my language subtitle but it’s so small and cant change size. It’s so annoying.

Sign up/ login process outdated
I tried to login in to my Roku tv but it said it needs a Username and password, but I couldn’t see a way to find the password, because I made an account with google. Update the app on the Roku tv. It needs to show a login using google option. Fix now!

Lacking
No built in screen shot tool, random dimming of videos for no reason I can find that isn’t reflected on other apps, difficulties going in and out of window in window, I could go on. I have IQIYI, Tencent, and youku and youku is the one I find myself liking the least.
Can’t log in on tv app
I’ve started a subscription and deleted it in the same day. Everything was fine of my phone. Downloaded the app on my tv and nothing I did would let it log in. I was constantly told my email/username was innocent after JUST making the account. I’ve tried all day to make it work. Nothing. So I just deleted it.
