Misleading pricing scam
The pricing is misleading. They advertise $20/month in large font but it’s not. In small print it says it’s actually $240/year. So if you’re needing it for a short term, you’re stuck. There aren’t other options. So they are *technically* transparent but are intentionally misleading. A cost per year should be advertised as a cost per year, not a cost per month. This is a scam. ALSO they don’t let you rate them through their internal rating system unless you put in 5 stars. It says permission denied :) Scam, scam, scam.

I should’ve read all those reviews before I downloaded and subscribed the plan.
At the subscription page, it showed an option of $20/month and another of $300/year. After realizing I was charged for $240 instead of $20, I finally noticed there was a small line buried among many other features saying the plan is billed annually.
If both plans are billed annually, why is one displayed as $20/month while the other is shown differently? The pricing presentation is confusing and misleading. Based on other reviews, I’m clearly not the only customer who misunderstood it. If so many people have had the same experience, why hasn’t this been made clearer?

It clearly said I’m purchasing a monthly plan of 20$ . No where did it said that the full year is billed upfront . Also you billed me twice 240$ . So 480$ in total .
I sent you and email but you haven’t replied .
I opened a dispute with my credit card company .
It was almost impossible to understand the “doctors “ English . Also after stating my needs they said a prescription needs to be approved by another supervisor which takes up to 6 hours . Very deceiving and non transparent unprofessional service ! I don’t recommend using these guys.

Also my double charge has never been refunded .
I have no other choice than a dispute resolution.
I will also report you to the consumer protection branch .

Pros: This makes a lot of sense! The app is easy to use and provides medical relief when we need it most!
CONS: The amount you will be charged is $240 immediately for the full year with no refund option, please read the terms closely and understand them before paying.
The bullet point for annual charge is baked in the $20/month info, this is not a callout message when you select your package. I suggested the app team make a change to this and call this right at the top (first bullet point) for clearer transparency of the plan so that customers can make an informed decision!

Helpful in a pinch
Canadian here and our healthcare system is garbage at the moment. This app really came in handy for medical care and doctor’s notes. I’m located in Ontario and not only did they connect me with a doctor based in my province, but when I checked his license number in the database it came back as legitimate. Alveena S. was the most lovely person ever and I’m so thankful for this app.
