False Alerts every night

The camera picks up every shadow and sends way too many false alerts.

Used to be great

Used to be great, especially on Android it was even better. Now it’s terrible. They tried to make it “look” nicer and ruined the practicality. We use vertical view cameras for our entrances to capture more in the hallways leading to and from our doors, and you used to be able to see the entire view on your phone, plus could zoom into some areas. Since the “styling” update a few months ago, it now opens the camera views in a smaller window and does not scale the video feed to match, so on our most important cameras that we spent thousands of dollars to have, we can’t view and monitor the top or bottom 15-20% unless we pinch to zoom out, which freezes the feed AND doesn’t stay so when you let go, it bounces back to zoomed in. Now if someone is trying to break in, we have to export the footage while on the phone with PD just to see the person and give a description. Absolutely awful update decision and I thought for sure they’d fix this, which is why I waited before writing a review, but like I said it’s been many months now and there has been a handful of updates, none of which address this major flaw. To be clear, I’ve also tried to get around this by using other iPhones and they all do this. ADD A VIDEO SCALING OPTION, FIX THE EXISTING VIDEO SCALING WITH SCREENS, or our business will pull out. We are one of the largest Bay Alarm accounts on the west coast and cannot afford to lose money because some devs decided the video feed looks more aesthetically pleasing if it auto scales to the center and doesn’t allow you to zoom out. I have resolved this issue. Expect it to come out in the next version (26.1.12). We rely on your feedback, if you expect any issues, use the Feedback tool within the app. This will get to us faster than an app store review

New update fixed nearly everything

Wow. The new update is light years ahead of the old one. Your cameras pop up when you load it. You can move them now and reposition them from your phone. The event timeline works. Just, wow.

Only thing keeping it from a 5-star is the “next event” banner plastered across the camera view. Guys, don’t superimpose buttons over the camera view. This is a phone app. The screen’s not that big. It’s usable if you turn the phone sideways and the view pops into full screen, but it’s still covering up 15-20% of the view.

Thank you for the feedback, we will strive to improve this

What a user-hostile piece of garbage. Why can’t I just see the cameras at my job site? Select the site and boom - cameras should just pop up. That should be the default, not a blank screen. Why would I want to build a view every time? And btw the views don’t build. At least I can’t figure it out. “Add all” doesn’t add all. Just selects the one. And Nothing ever actually gets added to the view. (And is it a “view” or a “matrix”?) I can select cameras to add, but can’t actually add them. So I get to save a blank screen. Yea.

Need a user manual if you make stuff this difficult and un-intuitive. Or better yet, just pony up the money for someone else’s GUI.

Terrible. F.

Just ehhh

Apple support is bad, cannot view cameras, issues logging in. Just unfortunately the platform doesn’t hold up to other companies such as ring or even cheap camera apps made for Walmart plug in security cameras. This company needs to work on their user interface and make it more friendly to the consumer.

If you have any issues then best way to get help is to press the "Feedback" button in the "More" menu. That will allow me to help you directly
