I really love this app. Could you please add the History Channel, bro Reelz, Story Television, and inwonder, lifetime, metv, netv 2, metv plus, military heroes, modern marvels, TV one, science channel, mlb, and tv one crime and justice and uptv? Thanks!

Awful UI, too much $$
The UI has TONs of issues. If you contact support they will assure you it’s a feature, not a bug. As if I want to state I want to watch live TV every time I change the channel. It will put you hours behind randomly. If you like sports, you will miss a lot bc you might flip between games and not check to see if you’re live. It’s unusable, let alone for the extreme price

Freezes on live streams
The app works great but when I try to watch a live stream it tends to stutter or freeze for 10 seconds every so often in 1080p
TOO MANY ADS
I think I watched 45 mins of commercials while watching a 1hr45min movie.

I’ve had it set to record everything NBA for 10 years and of course it did not record All-Star Saturday night. Even though I sent the message every year once again they do this to the sports fan I can’t believe how awful they could be.
It cuts off the end of the program ALL the time, like the pregame or postgame shows. I’ve been telling them for years and they never fix anything. Edit: 6 months later the NBA draft, the dumb app STILL doesn’t have that set to record either. Bunch of dopes running this app. Edit 4 months later: now the NBA summer league is on and I miss games because it did not record them. It’s called the NBA summer league hello that’s the NBA

Buggy and Never Improves with Updates
Resume from last Watch rarely works. Yes, I try to watch from the Home Screen rather than the live screen. Sometimes it just takes you live ruining the game you had to pause. This issue is also on their Apple TV app, which is awful and has terrible picture quality.
Update: I still have all issues above plus it randomly stops fast forwarding or rewinding when double tapping either the left or right of the screen. It just gets stuck. When I manually fast forward, then double tap to fast forward, it rewinds. If I force close the app, it says I already watched the entire program and have to start from the beginning. It’s an annoying app.
Update 2: it won’t always play what you select. It refused to let me watch a live World Cup match. It kept playing other recorded shows every time I selected the match.

Not worth it
I am really wondering why I paid for YouTube TV. Most shows that are included in the base plan which is already $60+ Then when you pay for an add on, somehow there are STILL advertisements. For the price I paid I could get several streaming services that also include Netflix, Hulu, and Prime. This was probably the worst decision I made in regards to a streaming platform.

Nothing plays in 4k and not even 1080p… everything looks awful and nothing is even on this goofy app.

especially the viewer for live events. take some advice from disney+ or espn live events for your ui. how does skipping forward 10s take me back thirty minutes? why no “live” button? etc. lock in!

Best “Cut the Cable” Option
We have used all the cable providers, and this option far surpasses them all. The “DVR” is phenomenal! We record all the shows that we enjoy and simply fast-forward through the commercials. We even did this on a road-trip in which we accessed the program via Starlink hooked up to our vehicle so that we didn’t need to stream using cellular data. We did this from Texas to Indiana and back. It was phenomenal!!

Won’t play videos, ads just keep repeating
Ads were playing for 10+ minutes. Ridiculous

Unstable
If you are looking for a sports streaming app that jumps backward to earlier parts of a game at random times and removes itself from pause status on it’s own, this is the app for you
Sound issues
On the Apple TV YouTube TV app, during live games and even during ads, the sound drops out for a few seconds, seemingly randomly. Really annoying. Only happens with this app, not with any other app showing live tv or ads.
