Horrible app… download Fubo
Won’t even play local games. This app sucks badly. Just keep scrolling g to another app that you can actually watch football with. Thanks for nothing. Thank god they had a trial. Only took me less than 24 hours to choose a much better streaming service than this one.
Needs native video player support and other bug fixes
The fact they’re using their own video player is stupid. Apple’s is so much better. Also, skip forwards or backwards should resume the video automatically, not stop it. The rest of streaming apps do this but not YouTube or YouTubeTV. As of late, some recorded content stays on the black screen way too, sometimes requiring to restart the player. There’s some intentional data throttling and heavy compression going on that makes the app difficult to like, especially on an AppleTV box. I hope they roll out a much needed app update with the upcoming AppleTV box refresh. Also, 4k content should be free and standard, not a 10 dollar add on.

The youtube tv nfl sunday ticket claims to give you access to “out of market games” but after you pay for it and go to the app the game you want to watch says “sorry this game is not available in your market”. Until it actually does what it promises just stream the games online somewhere

Glad to be back! Absolutely loving YouTube TV
Absolutely love being back with YouTube TV! Signed up the 1st after being subscribed to another platform off and on since 2022 and I’m loving YouTube TV even more since! Initially made the switch for 2 months back in ‘24 but due to financial constraints I was unable to keep YouTube TV at that time, switched financial institutions in September ’25 and now my bank is accepted by Google for YouTube TV payments! That’s a plus in itself lol
Now onto a few of the things that I love about YouTube TV compared to the other platform I was formerly subscribed too.
1. User Interface: absolutely love how YouTube TV uses the exact same features and functionality as the traditional YouTube app. Makes navigating the app much easier and more fluid.
2. Content: absolutely love having the lineup and content that I do with YouTube TV, certain channels for programming I follow and watch on a weekly basis are carried by YouTube TV, with the former platform, I had to do an outside 3rd party subscription to watch the show. Makes it nice knowing that I can save that extra money now.
3. Features: absolutely two of the best features with YouTube TV that I love are the MULTIVIEW and Last watched channel. Neither were available with the other platform, Multiview makes it completely convenient for me as a sports fan, both me and my wife are nfl fans and it makes it easier being able to pull up Broncos and Bengals games on the same screen without missing plays. Last watched channel is another useful feature as I tend to watch different programming quite often so it makes it nice to get back and forth between networks quickly.
All in all, definitely worth making the switch for anyone else who wants to save money.

YT tv review
Great at home, but what’s the point of a streaming service if I can’t watch the big games on my phone on the go. Literally won’t let me watch the big game unless I “return to my home watching area”…what a joke
SCAM!!!!!
I signed up for the free trial and immediatly canceled it. This is the most confusing subscription to cancel over ever experienced. Checked my credit card statements and I have at least 2 charges on this for $58 each when I literally canceled it!!! Now I have to go through the headache that is YouTube to get it reversed and if that doesn’t work to go through credit card chargeback and if that doesn’t work to get in touch with attorney. Not worth a “free” trial

Expensive
Everything I was interested to watch had extra fees to watch in addition to the membership that is already expensive.
Straight up doesn’t work
Frequently wants me to re-verify my home area. I want to watch sports games from the start but often get zapped straight to live, spoiling the score. Even a day later, I attempt to play the recording and can’t. Unacceptable.
Buffering every 2 seconds
YouTube Tv is a complete F’n joke. CBS buffers every 2 seconds. When it does stop buffering I can’t change the channel because when I come back to the channel it again starts buffering every 2 seconds. This App is the only app on my appleTv that’s struggling. I’ve updated the app, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but it still does it. These idiot app developers update stuff and ruin everything. There’s no support person to call so that’s useless. They have no problem taking my money.

Annoying trial period
Yeah, it’s nice. You gave me a free 20 minute preview, but you started it right away and there’s nothing I could do all I’ve seen so far is commercials so I’ve got new legit preview.
Not for Multi Locations or Travel!
This product has made it impossible of you have a spouse working in an another state or you have a second home. It says multiple accounts but that’s now only from the same zip code. This is a worthless prooduct for me.

Way to expensive. And my account got hacked and charged from someone in California for 480$ for a fricking NFL package… yeah 480$ for NFL what the hell. Had to cancel my card bc couldn’t get a refund through the app and been fighting getting my money back through my card.

Worst app ever
I have had so many issues with YouTube app for my television and it’s really making me sick not to mention as much money as I pay for this app. I should not have the issues that I’m having and to add some of my channels are gone and I’m still paying the same price it is not fair.
