Good With Flaws

This app really helped me get through my Algebra 2 homework and I still use it to this day. I don’t really have any complains against the app except that sometimes the tutors take a very long time to help you. While they do take you through every step and possibility of the problem you’re working on, sometimes not everyone has 40mins-1 hour to work on 1 problem. But it does vary from tutor to tutor. A tip I use is being a little assertive with the tutors and telling them exactly what you need help with and if you need to leave. I find that helps speed things along if needed. Again I love this app, but I wish the speed was a bit faster and they didn’t ask 5 long follow up questions after every single problem

Not a good experience. DO NOT BUY

I am a kid who had to rely on Yup for homework, so you can trust me when I say that you CANNOT rely on this app. My problems were considered too hard and out of the curriculum for tutors, and sometimes it would take OVER AN HOUR to find a tutor who would be able to solve the problem. The solution would be slow and boring, and the tutors belittle you and make you think you are a child. The tutors are rude and snappy and are quick to yell at you or use a condescending attitude. ESPECIALLY IN THIS TIME OF QUARANTINE, do not get taken advantage of. The service is long winded and you can’t back out of the deal once you realize the scam. Many of the tutors would end up giving solutions that were WRONG anyway. The app is riddled with technical difficulties. When customer service contacts you, it’s to take the side of the tutors. TRUST ME, GET A DIFFERENT TUTOR/APP!!!

Great app, great tutors, worth the money!

I am a student and tutor myself. I have struggled with the current math I am in and catching up to my class. So when my dad found this app I was relieved. The tutors give me the confidence to attempt work on the classroom. I am very pleased with my experiences so far! Definitely would recommend!

Loving YUP!

My daughter has always struggled with math through out grade school and in to JH. We decided to give YUP a try to see if we could improve her grades and her confidence for her freshman year. I can’t tell you what an amazing experience it has been! She went from a C-D average to being a A-B student!! It has given her so much more confidence. Her being able to understand her homework is worth every cent! I’m so glad we found YUP! The ease of access for her to be able to use it when ever she needs it is such an amazing benefit! And not only the tutors but the people at YUP care about making it the best experience for her! Thank you for this amazing opportunity for her! We love YUP and will continue to use it through out her HS years!

Fantastic program!!!

Can’t say enough good things about this program! Yup has completely turned our daughter’s math experience around. She went from a stressed out, struggling math student to full confidence and an A grade on her final exam in a matter of weeks!
The platform is perfect for her and the tutors are very positive, thorough, and confidence-boosting! They take time to make sure she understands the concepts behind the problems in a way that is very supportive and encouraging so she feels proud of what she does know instead of embarrassed by what she doesn’t. The app is very easy to use and the availability of the tutors is also a key factor - the ability to instantly receive support as needed reduces the frustration time immensely!
As a parent it is a joy to work with Yup as well. From my initial contact with Thurain, who was very informative and helpful, to Marina who provides ongoing support throughout our journey, and all the tutors who keep a smile on my daughter’s face as she works through her homework. With Yup, you have a whole team of support!
