Terrible

There’s not even an option for free but it states that. Not worth the fees delete!

Worked when it was free

I’m not paying for this. A subscription is unnecessary. It was good while it was free.

No free option anymore

I’ve used this for years as required by my school for coaching. Now it requires payment. Finding a different option because coaches don’t get paid enough to add a subscription model for weather updates.

Not sure it’s accurate

Not sure I can trust this app and where it’s getting its info from - might as well use Apple Weather

FAQ

What does Zelus WBGT do?

Zelus WBGT is an advanced weather safety system that monitors outdoor environmental risks in real-time. It provides data on WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) for heat safety, lightning detection, and AQI (Air Quality Index) monitoring. It also includes risk management tools to help organizations safeguard their teams and ensure operational safety.

What are the key features of Zelus WBGT?

Key features include real-time, hyperlocal WBGT data for heat safety and compliance, timely lightning detection alerts, AQI monitoring for air quality, and risk management tools that automatically save critical safety data with date, time, and signature stamps for accountability.

Is Zelus WBGT free to use?

The application is free to download and use, offering core environmental monitoring features. However, certain advanced functionalities or premium services may be available through in-app purchases, as indicated by the presence of in-app purchases.

What are the limitations or warnings for Zelus WBGT?

Zelus WBGT may give inaccurate readings in enclosed spaces like tennis courts or on large black surfaces. It uses the phone's last known GPS location, which might not be the current location, so saved locations are recommended for accuracy. Lightning detection is primarily available in the United States, and AQI monitoring is available where supported. Always use your best judgment regarding activity levels.

Who is Zelus WBGT designed for?

This app is designed for professionals and organizations that operate outdoors or manage outdoor activities, including Fortune 500 companies, elite sports teams, and military units. It's for anyone needing to monitor environmental conditions to ensure safety, compliance, and mitigate weather-related risks.
