Thank you for your comment. It is important to know that temperature alone is not the same as WBGT. WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) is the international standard for heat safety because it combines temperature, humidity, sun angle, and other environmental factors that determine how the body experiences heat. The WBGT value can be very different from the air temperature and is a much better guide for safe activity levels. Zelus provides these WBGT readings to help prevent heat illness and keep athletes safer than relying on temperature alone.

Thank you for your feedback. Zelus provides free WBGT readings at your phone’s last known GPS location. Because this is a professional safety tool, we ask for a name and email at sign up so we can contact users if a critical technical issue ever arises.

I really didn’t like how I had to make an account. The app already asks for your location so there is no need for it to save other data just to deliver local weather. The built in weather app doesn’t need an account, this one shouldn’t either

In fact, it's been proven that WBGT derived from weather station data is often more reliable due to the advanced physics involved.
