But really simply disappointed and I already had a bad feeling about using the prompt feature; the nightmare I was concerned about has become a real reality

Love It, But…
This app is really great in terms of quality and functionality as for the journaling and other features. However, it’s disappointing to not have the option to still be able to do my check ins without paying for a $30/month subscription just to log how I’m doing. At that point, I’ll just write in a diary and would probably receive the same results for free. My feedback is to find something cheaper that does the same thing.

Disappointing
I had set up an account with my iPhone and in my subscriptions says I am paid until 2027. But cannot access the check in part without being told I have to pay again. Contacted support, told me I must’ve signed in with another email. And no help afterwards even with proof of payment from Apple. So I’ve paid twice for an account that I cannot access

Trash
So I bought the book and the journal and love it. And all through the book is the QR code for this app so I decided to check it out. They grant me a “free” year which is awesome! Right?! Wrong! The app never allowed me to use the pro features and THEN when I cancelled it for some reason they decided to charge me for the full year! I did contact support who said they would fix the app before I decided to just cancel and delete because they actually never did anything. But hey they responded I guess! Anyways so now I paid for the app so I am thinking well since I paid for it I might as well use it since I SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE IT NOW! Right?! But nope! The app STILL will not unlock the pro features after paying $46! It’s trash! I am going to try to contact support for the third time to ask for my money back because I have using LifeNote and it’s AMAZING!
Update: they still never replied to my emails to support so I had to go through Apple to explain the situation and get my money back. So… still trash!

Unusable
This app is basically unusable for its purpose unless you pay for the subscription. Why are you on my case about my check in streak if I can’t complete a check in without paying? More wellness capitalism taking advantage of people who are struggling.
Eye opening
This app is a perfect deep dive to the actual shadow work journal
Not helpful
The app has issues and the developers, despite saying they respond quickly do not. Be aware, there is no support available. Their features don’t work. 9 day streak and the streak feature for additional features doesn’t update. I stopped the subscription prior to being charged as I will not pay for an app that doesn’t work and there is no support available.

Found What I’m Looking For
I have only used this app for a short time but it is by far the best one I have tried for shadow work. It’s a comprehensive app with journaling, education, check in’s and more. I feel really grateful to have found it!
Rip off
This app seemed really good until you have to pay to use any feature on it. Don’t bother downloading it
Time Stamp
It would be nice to be able to adjust the time stamp on check-ins, sometimes I remember feeling a way earlier in the day but I forgot to log it and want to adjust the time for when it happened.
Spammy AF
Cannot use the app due to the insane amount of pop ups it has bullying you into buying the premium version. Deleted the app before I finished clicking past at least 15.
This app may save my life
The ability to quickly jot down thoughts and assign characters to them. It’s so streamlined compared to anything else I’ve ever seen/just doing traditional journaling was all over the place for me. It provides the structure. Suggests how to think through. It makes a daunting process feel like you have a mentor with you every step of the way guiding you along. I love the identifying of patterns, etc.
If you’re reading this Judy keep going, keep trying, you will keep failing, but celebrate that you’re trying. Maybe one day an app that organizes what you’ve been working on and helps you contextualize it will be a piece to the puzzle that helps you be a little more complete.

Waste of time
I bought the shadow work journal that told me to download this app to help along the journey. Now you want me to subscribe for $24.99 a month? No thank you. I’ve had this app for two days each morning I wake up with 60+ notifications. Go to check the notification and all it does is bring up the glimmer and trigger pages. I’ll tell you what this app is triggering. Don’t know how this app is supposed to help a journal app is better than this

i love the concept, but you can barely do anything on the app unless you fork out $40. not everyone has that kind of money, especially in the current state of the world. i’d recommend old fashioned journaling and finding a guided meditation on youtube if you can’t afford this. i’m disappointed.
I like the traveling aspect of this.

Effective Guided Personal Development
I’ve tried a lot of classes and systems. So far this one is the best. I love that it’s not just meditation or platitudes but uses actual psychology exercises to help us uncover how and why we feel and think the way we do. Thinking about thinking is how we become more introspective and grow.
Lose 2 stars for support
I thoroughly enjoy this app. However, I am financially struggling, and contacted support for a free or reduced price. They said they were going to activate my subscription for free for a year! I was so excited!! Until I saw they charged my card the year price anyways. I removed 2 stars for that and will update if they reimburse me the yearly membership. I unfortunately cannot afford to pay for this service.

Won’t Open
I just bought the book. Downloaded the app and will not open at all when trying to click ‘Let’s Start Now’. Like there’s no link to take me anywhere.
Best Inner work app
In love with this app and already recọmmended it to my parents and siblings so we can all to the much needed inner work together. Best features I recọmmend you use are the check in’s (all of them from general check in to trigger check in) and the library of meditations and resources- there is a LOT of value there. I always cọme back to the Hot Thoughts and WILD Technique exercises they help me a lot.

Potential Ruined By Poor Marketing
I’ve still been trying to explore the app and see if it’s a good fit. Usually I need more than a week. I’ve allowed notifications for my alarm and helpful prompts to journal but I get sooo many notifications trying to get me to subscribe. The app is probably cool, I like their morning meditation and I love metrics. But the notifications telling me to get a subscription pushed me to just delete the app not sign up. Note to the marketing team— consistent, insistent notifications telling people to subscribe makes them want to engage *less* and they will leave to check out other less annoying apps. Effective marketing is much more subtle - don’t be a used car salesman
